Just like the ROTS toy version and the countless others in the toy sections I thought I'd start one here so us Lego nuts

Yesterday I picked up the ARC-170 Starfighter, and the day before that the new TIE Fighter. Christmas saw me receive the UCS Star Destroyer (as well as a LEGO Advent Calendar) - which was going to get started last night but the ARC-170 got in the way!

On Saturday I'll be getting my hands on the special Duplo brick with Anakin figure that LEGO UK gave out.

If I may ask, how does one come across one of those?


My lateset LEGO scores have been another 40 Final Duel II's for $1.25 each thanks to a helpfull collector that still has KB Toy stores in his state. Some tubes with 100 pieces for $.99 (75% off)each at Target and the Ferrari pit crew set at Target for $14.98 (50% off)

Got the last ARC Fighter at Argos this morning, I thought that was pretty lucky imo.

LEGO only gave them out to retailers who were big account holders (Ie orderd loads of stock).

I'm borrowing it for photographic purposes.

I love the Ferrari winner's podium myself. How come it isn't up on LEGO.com - is it a LEGO shop exclusive?

I picked up the Lego MF OTC for 55 bucks on clearance about a week or so ago.

Bought my first LEGO sets at Walmart yesterday! I have been collecting SW for years, and it's been at least a decade since I built LEGOs so I though "Why not?"

I Picked up the Snowspeeder and Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter. Total cost - $26 plus tax. Is that a good deal? They were on clearance at WM.

We had the Falcon for 39 bucks, X-wings for 10, Cantina and snowspeeder for 5 bucks apiece. I helped out a couple scummer and some local collectors as soon as I could but they didnt last very long. So it sounds like you got a decent deal.

I found a mini sith infiltrator here in the UK on retail, I think they are hard too find now as I have been trying for a month too get my hands on one, they had three on the stand, looked as though they had been found lying around in the stock room as they weren't properly displayed. Filled a gap nicely.

Try The Entertainer who have a number of the older MINI sets.

Glad to hear that I got a good deal! I am not becoming addicted to LEGOs again! My wife is less that pleased. I picked up the four minis today (MMT, Gunship, Falcon, and ATAT) and I am very pleased with them they are way cooler than I expected, and the Y-Wing parts - WOW! I was totally surprised to find the plans to a Y-Wing in each of the 4 minis!

Jeremy, that was only Mini I didn't have but I'll keep that site in mind in the future, although I don't think they have any there anyway from what I can see?

Minis are cool, I was disappointed the third wave didn't have an extra model, especially as they were more expensive than the first two waves although the third wave does have the bigger models to be fair and I like the third wave models more, I hope they come out with more soon, they are so great for a small display.

I actually didn't buy these yet, but the new Tie Fighter with Vader and the ROTS Preview set (Anakin's StarFighter...) were on the the shelves of my local Target last night. (Coralville,Iowa)

You are right - no MINI sets. Which is odd because they had bundles of them on sale at their stores last summer.

They don't move stock that quickly. They had POTF2 stock for a long time.

Wow! $35 for the Falcon II? That's amazing. Are all of you guys getting this stuff at Wal Mart?? I don't have one near me, unfortunately.

My most recent purchase was a B-Wing at Control Center without the box (but with minifigs & instructions) for $20. The guy only charged me $2.50 for shipping, which was nice.

Got a Flacon for 25 about 2 weeks ago. Grabbed ROTS Droid Tri Fighter today at Kmart in Va.

Got the wookie scout walker the other day and could have bought the tri-fighter or whatever it's called (the blue thing with the buzz droids) as well as some wookiee set and the arc-170 but they cost to much so I'll pass for now.

The local walmart here has a stand out for rots legos. The have the Buzz Droid, Mustafar playset, wookie attack, arc ship, Grvious vs Obi-wan, 2-3 more. They do look sweet.

The Falcon came from K-Mart?? Bummer. They've closed the ones near me. I may have to make a special trip to one of the outlying areas.

Well, during the TRU coupon deal the other week I bought quite a few SW LEGO sets. I bought Imperial Inspection, Wookie Cattamaran, Wookie Attack, Mustafar set, 4 Clone Walkers and Grevious Wheelbike Chase. Also used some of my old receipts to get some more free mini ARC-170's. I think I ended up with like 24 of them.

Not a SW acquisition, got the first set of 06 stuff the last week of 05, but I got the HUGE (1884 pcs) TECHNIC Mobile Crane in the mail.

I should get the UCS Star Destroyer and Y-Wing next month (on backorder when purchased)

Got the Tranform Darth Vader mini-pack awhile back. Also saw the Clone Turbo Tank but, at $90, it's too rich for my blood.
