Recent Acquisitions - Indiana Jones Edition

I’ve found that there is a card variation. Most of the Indy Retro figures that I picked up were all on the standard thin, flimsy Star Wars Retro Collection cards, but the German Mechanic I found at Target the other day was on a much thicker card on par with what we are seeing with the newer Star Wars Vintage Collection figures. Inserted a pic: thicker card on the right.

Also stumbled across a 2010 Disney Indy with possibly the craziest googly eyes I've ever seen recently.....so just for the sake of a good laugh I figured I'd share...

Yep! My son kept "borrowing" my original Young Indy and it's more or less permanently in his collection! I didn't mind, but I did eventually want it back or replaced. So jacked I found this today!
 
while i haven't found them yet in the wild I found out this morning that Matchbox has 3 Indiana Jones vehicles currently on the market including the car that Short Round drives in TOD, as well as 2 planes. Definitely picking these up if I get the chance. there is a pre-order for the wave of Matchbox cars on Entertainmentearth.com for the car. not sure about the 2 planes.
 
Supposedly Five Below has had the cars. I had a buddy get mine from down south. I did find the one plane at Hobby Lobby (mixed in behind other vehicles) but gave up and ordered the OB-3PO plane on eBay.

The sarcophagus is available on Amazon just need to verify the size this one is in scale & has a mummy inside.

Still looking for the official staff, but for now these are all build in progress pictures anyway. Just wait till you see the basement underneath. :)

Cool, thanks for the info on that sarcophagus. (y) Hey, you might want to contact @DarkKnight07 who did a bunch of customs using Map Room Indy, he might have some staffs, don't know that for sure but worth passing along the info as a possible lead.
