I feel the same way
Sorry.
Sorry.
Like I pointed out in a different thead (or maybe earlier in this one)...just like the Japanese site, the Asia/AU site is not carrying the pride droids, but the US and UK sites are. I really do think they're just holding off a bit, so that they don't have so many Droid Factory options available at once. While S4M could pop up at anytime, I wouldn't be surprised if they're waiting for the pride promo window to close, which would be the end of June.It did pop up on the Asia/Australia/NZ ShopDisney site just a few hours before the 25th, but no sign of it on the US or UK sites.
Have you done the conversion from yen to US currency? It’s about $21 a figure, not counting shipping. I’m good on waiting a while longer.i'd pay double, but i wouldn't pay current ebay fees. that's why i'm saying we should do a group order. we can probably get them for merely double if we get 5 or 6 of us buying together.
According to EndorExpress' Instagram post, they were found at California Adventure and Downtown Disney, so maybe they haven't hit Orlando yet.Nothing at Disney Springs today except for the Pride droids.
Finally! Thanks for the update, Jayson.Available June 12 on ShopDisney View attachment 462595
Well I can't recall going into a restaurant or a bar, and the server carrying the food and drinks behind them LoLWith that pic & the previous promos, you'd think the photographer & displayer had never seen an Astromech before.
Good news for those who live near the park. I just hope they adhere to the June 12th launch date, and don’t post it early, unannounced. They did that once before (though I don’t recall which droid or set it was) and it ended up selling out before I even woke up that day.Picked mine up at the Star Wars Trading Post in the Anaheim Downtown Disney yesterday, so you don't need to go into the parks to find him...
Is there something wrong with the one from the EE set, or is it that the set is long sold out and going for a lot on the secondary market?I wouldn't pay double either, but it's definitely a must-have for me. I refuse to own the one from the EE pack, so S4M is literally a godsend. In fact, that's the figure that might make me finally open my Barge and check for any damage it may have sustained while being knifed by madmen.
Yes, there is something very wrong with it: it’s that godawful Bartoo mold (VC25)!! lolIs there something wrong with the one from the EE set, or is it that the set is long sold out and going for a lot on the secondary market?
You're being very generous here.^ It's the least favorable r2 mold
A6 is the white R2 w/ green panels, right? The one from the Royal Starship 4-pack? Or were you referring to the even older one from those very first EE astromech sets?I never even bought that droid pack with that awful mold. I don't own a single astromech that uses it, either. This S4M droid does give me hope that Disney would be willing to make R2-A6 again with a much better paint job. That one would make me even happier than S4M.
If I had read your original post after I had my morning coffee, I probably could have extrapolated the one you actually meant.Sorry, yes, I meant R2-A5. The weathering is very nicely done on S4M and if they can pull that off and get the faint green borders on the dome right and update the body panels to be correct (EE version is missing some green), I'd scoop that right up.
Now anyone can tend bar!
