Wow, that's a surprise. A BAD version of the second Jabba barge drink astromech. That might be the first canon droid to be on one of those cards.

We've had Chopper, BB-8 & the green R4 & R5 Last Jedi 2 pack on that cardback.

Unexpected but very much welcome. The previous version had that wonky pop-up body and the weathering on this looks fantastic!

I'm looking forward to this one. The Hasbro version using the tiny Bar2 mold kept me from buying that EE set, and I always kinda missed this guy. The Disney astromech mold is so much better. And the Ecto-Cooler filled glasses are mesmerizing!
Looks great! I'll definitely pick up a couple of these.
Let's hope there's plenty more to come. The made-up droids are fine, but would love to see more canon droids in the mix. First one that jumps to mind is the unnamed (I think?) blue-domed R2 unit from Mos Eisley. Would also like to see them take another shot at R4-M9, only this time with more accurate olive drab stripes, as opposed to the dark gray color they used for their TFA set.
Agreed. I'd like them to try again with Wedge's droid, this time with white instead of silver.

Isn't that technically done with R3-T2's dome?
I would post a picture but that site won't let me. His dome is red with white. Hasbro got it wrong with the 'official' droid (which is silver with red), and the closest was in the first batch of Disney BAD's with a red with silver dome.

I know the Dome you mean, but the red with white panels R3-T2/Wedge X-Wing Dome was in the Kenobi set.
Ahh, I forgot about that one. I guess that would work since we don't know what the body looks like.
Didn't Wedge refer to his droid as R5 anyway? lol While one could reuse the same body I'd like a slightly different deco for variety sake, not to mention trying to keep track of which goes with who.
I'd like to see them reissue the white dome with red panels again as I was never able to quire that one, R2-V11 I guess it its designation. Also still holding out hope that Disney or Hasbro will make this Droid some day soon.

Looking at the Astromech Arithmetic web page & the sheer number of named Astros, pack-ins, Ltd exclusives & Disney Combos made since 2006, it must be near impossible for any new collector to start a full collection, and very expensive.
I have a giant spreadsheet of all the astromechs but they don't have color descriptions or pictures attached. It is still helpful knowing which body types go with which types though.

I also sat around in the virtual waiting room earlier, only to see no R2-S4M. Super lame. Surely it has to go up at sometime today, right? Just hope I don't miss it.

I've tried the just "Droid" search before and had little success, maybe I'm just leaving out too many keywords. lol
It is one of those “keep it simple“ situation. When I have entered ‘Droid Factory’ or a specific name, it doesn’t show. Every time I have used just ‘droid’ it has worked to show everything available. I also always make sure it sorts by Newest after it shows the results.
Yeah, it's annoying, but definitely on-brand for shopDisney. Either their OWK Droid Factory set, or the Mando one (can't remember which), was available on shopDisney Japan for several days before it became available in the states.
I was checking both eBay and Mercari last night to see if any in-hand samples had popped up, but still nothing.
If they had been in the parks yesterday, some auctions definitely would have gone up by now. A new Droid Depot popcorn bucket was released in the park yesterday, and multiple listings of it started appearing last night, but no S4M.
