Exactly. If the face sculpt comes out as good as the Slave Leia statue, I'll get it. If it turns out as awful as the Slave Leia and/or Bespin Leia mini busts, I'll pass. Fingers crossed.
 
Love it!!! I just don’t understand the pricing. 200 for this 1/6 but 350 for the Mandalorian 1/6? Gonna snag it before they up the price!!!
 
Very cool and unique idea! I like it. Hopefully the face will look like Carrie and not like the Slave Leia mini-bust.

I don't use GG directly anymore, not since the issues with PGM gifts being hammered by uk customs and the high shipping costs they now have.
Cheaper for me to buy off eBay than it is GG.
 
I just just might re-up my PG membership so I can make sure to pre-order this. Is the $200 price something for PG members only or will it be that too upon regular release (if there is one)

it came up 170 for me, platinum membership 15% off.....weird time of Midnight for pre-order.....EST
 
Interesting how both of the Leia statues GG have made available are not sculpts in a stand up pose. The whole sculpt is 10" high, so I'll find a place for her. That said, I'd like to see pictures of the statue from other angles. I'll pre-order her.

We don't actually see her in this pose in the film, right? I know there is a photo of it though.
 
Got my pre-order in. I'm not a member there anymore, so it must be available to everyone right off the bat. IMHO, $200 is a good value price for a 1/6 scale statue in 2021.

EDIT 1/23/21: Cancelled direct GG order and ordered through Entertainment Earth instead. Saved $40! No brainer!

beautiful piece with an unique pose and lovely facesculpt (horseface leia mb anyone?)...with such a low edt.size, a future grail piece for sure....and fair priced aswell!
 
The eyes are too big in the sculpt otherwise it looks really good, the pose, the hair, the base, I'll skip it but still happy for those who PO'd.
 
Wish the back of her outfit wasn't a separate glued on piece. But other than that , it looks great.

Straight from the storybook! :) Any image taken from the storybook and turned into bust/statue form is an automatic purchase for me! Ordered!

BTW, a definitive Vader statue would be from the back cover. GG, please make this happen in 1:6.
