I agree. Unfortunately due to recent issues, we have to take every human face ( yet to be released ) these days with a grain of salt and hope the mass produced pieces end up looking as good as the promotinal images. But with some hesitation I'll give this offer some positive thinking and hope for the best result. They say every cloud has a silver lining, and this might be it. If not, oh well. If she ends up looking as good as in those pictures, she'll be a hit. If she ends up looking as bad as Dooku or Bespin Luke, it will only create more disappointment towards the line, which in turn will drive more collectors away. As far as her costume, I'm glad they are looking into Endor and offering this Mini Bust, which serves as a needed companion piece to the lonely Luke Endor Mini Bust from a few years ago. I only hope Han Endor will follow to complete the trio. But again, most importantly is that the paint jobs and the sculpt itself turn out to be as good as the pictures we are seeing. Fingers crossed!

This bust it would be a must for OT collectors. The face is amazing but I'm completely sure that the final product will be so far from this promo like happened with another busts.
I'm not going to buy anymore busts with human faces until they show that they can do it better with the final product.

Two concerns:
1- It has been brought up already, how close is the shown prototype to the actual production bust.
2- Why does GG keep having low edition #s for what looks appears to be popular characters/products and high #s for lesser known characters or crappy products? 1000 for these means a lot of collectors will probably miss out and it will be scalpers galore!

I hear ya, but considering the Luke Endor Mini Bust was limited to 774 pieces, making 1000 is already more than what is available of Luke for those wanting to make the set.

I’m skipping it. If it wasn’t for Bespin Luke, Dooku, Dark Rey, etc., I’d be preordering for sure. I’m willing to miss out on the piece for fear of it looking terrible in hand.

I preordered mine as well. The recent Princess Leia ANH statue came out sporting an excellent likeness, and I'm hoping that could also be the case with this bust, if done with care. While I do feel skeptical about this Leia having a good likeness when it gets released, I'm still inclined to try my luck. We'll see :)

Oh my God! Finally a mini bust with a nice likeness. She's a little too tanned, but hopefully from now until the fourth quarter of the year they'll spray a lighter coat of paint on her skin. I have preordered mine, and if when she comes out she's nothing like the picture, I'll return her at my own cost if I have to do so. No more mediocre sculpts to spend my money on. So, here is wishing the skin tone gets lighter and the sculpt stays as good as the prototype.

A promising looking prototype. The Leia ANH statue turned out good, so we shall see.

I think edition size is pretty spot on for current day market.

Thing that made me chuckle was seeing the estimated release as Q4, 2022.

In my best Marcia Brady voice, "Sure, Jan."

Hanging upside down in a cave on Hoth.
Missed opportunity for another deluxe bust. They could have given her a second helmetless head and an extra arm holding her helmet like when she offered it to Wicket.

Good luck to those that ordered it. I hope the likeness is there. The ANH statue turned out pretty good. This bust is going to be under 6 inches, is that undersized?
