What makes it Prince Xizor and not just a Black Sun member?

He was leader of the Black Suns during ESB and ROTJ and main antagonist of the 'Shadows of the Empire' arc. I played the game and read the novel back in the day but was featured in other Star Wars media too that I'm not familiar with so I won't embarrass myself by pretending to know everything haha! This is a cool figure to see though and hope Dash Rendar gets an announcement too!!

This is the kind of figure that makes me excited about Black Series. I want figures that take me back to a time when I cared more about Star Wars. I'm burned out on Disney's Star Wars.

This, I think, is why Xixor has got me so excited too! He's a real nostalgia hit, taking me back to a simpler, more innocent time. Although, for me, that time is the pre-Prequel era, basically the late 80s through mid-90s. Nowhere near the late 70s/early 80s golden era (of course), but good times. West End RPG, Thrawn Trilogy, Dark Empire, TIE Fighter, Dark Forces, Shadows . . . like I said, good times.

Looks to be his own exact outfit. He's really the only Notable Faleen so it just makes sense
It's definitely Xizor. The other Falleen in TCW were much different in build and costumes. His arm wraps will likely be softgoods like the older TLC 3.75 figure.

I’m very picky with “first day pre-orders” anymore. This is an instant one for me, personally. I’ve never been into the books but the Shadows mini-era was such a great time. Somehow, I wish I could remember what the story was, my family got the book either very cheap or free when it was brand new in some sort of promotion. I loved it. And most of us remember finding the purple cards in stores. Then the N64 game!
The character inclusion makes sense if they are revisiting EU stories such as the Last Command pack.
I am surprised that the company that doesn’t want bikini Leia wants to include this character as later media did include Black sun, but made sure not to include this particular character (if you know, you know)

Would be cool if he showed up there but honestly I’d much rather a retelling either animated or live action of Shadows of the Empire. I really hope that’s in the cards at some point in the near future.

Very nifty, and a surprise to be sure. Xizor was never my favorite part of Shadows Of The Empire, but I have such fondness for the project as a whole that I'll definitely pick him up.

I knew Xizor appeared somewhere (alongside Dryden Vos, no less), but couldn’t put my finger on it. You’re exactly right though.
It was a hologram scene and I *think* he was just a hologram. But still - he is unmistakably on screen! Canon!
That was actually Ziton Moj. Xizor was name-dropped in a recent canon comic but has yet to physically appear in canon.
I'm totally in for a Xizor.
