It's a cool set, but $500? Yikes! There are plenty of other things I'd rather drop that kind of money on.

Yeah, it’s pretty steep!

Still, a nice looking set - and I understand there may be further Trek themed releases still coming from Playmobil - so hopefully they won’t all be in the $500 range.

That is a very nice toy, in my opinion. I'll keep checking in to see what else is coming from them Star Trek wise.

I always hoped that Playmobile would dip their toe into a Star Wars licence. I'd love a Millennium Falcon playset.

I am curious how far they will go with this theme. I wouldn't mind a shuttle craft for pretty much all ST eras; TOS, TNG, movies, etc. That would seem to be right in their wheelhouse for sure.

They really did this set right. I think in our minds we all wished for something like this. A full blown ship that you can open up to reveal a decent sized bridge that can be populated with figures. The addition of a decent engineering section really blew my mind. Talk about wowing the fans. Honestly, if not for the price I would be all over it. In a way I'm kind of glad. 😅 If this was in the $200 range I would be so tempted.

If they follow up with a Enterprise D set like this I think it will be a huge hit. That would be perfect for the old Galoob TNG figures that were smaller in size.

As @sharky mentioned, a shuttle craft would seemly likely as a next release.

Also - looking at the pic of the bridge and its respective viewscreen - methinks Playmobil might also produce Klingon D-7, as a counterpart playset for the Enterprise?

Edit: just noticed there’s at least x2 Tribbles on the bridge near the viewscreen!

Wow, that's definitely a nice looking set! But yeah too pricey for my blood, $150 would have probably got me to bite. Although it does seem right in line with the Razor Crest for size so maybe the cost is comparative and warranted. IDK Now if it had been the Enterprise D I would have had a much harder time resisting the urge to buy one, since TNG is my favorite era besides the OG Movies.

I would certainly be interested in a shuttle though if priced more in line with the BTTF DeLorean, I don't love Playmobile enough to spend a great deal of Money just because they release something cool from a Franchise I adore. Plus a shuttle might take up less space.
