Figured we were about due for a new thread.

Disney will have a VR Star Wars experience at Downtown Disney (Disneyland) and Disney Springs (Disney World) this holiday.

Also, the Scum & Villainy Cantina pop-up SW bar will be staying. I was there a couple weeks ago and it was a good time (still have to go through my pictures from that trip) (I've been slacking)

Here's some of the recent posts.
Here's a preliminary list of Force Friday Hasbro offerings with DPCIs, SKUs and UPCs.

Has anyone heard what the Smugglers Bounty Pop! figure is for the Jedi set yet? Personally, I would like to see a Saesee Tiin or Yareal Poof. Even another chance at a Qui-Gon would be nice. I just hope it's not another Old Ben, Luke or Yoda. I could see them doing an AOTC or ROTS Obi-Wan and considering the video just released, that may be the case.
Ellsworth & Rittenhouse Target- All of the new Forces of Destiny dolls. I plan to get both Reys at some point, but going to wait for a sale. I will get Jyn and Sabine on clearance. Sabine did not blow me away since she doesn't look the way I picture Sabine looking. They also had the Forces of Destiny Rey staff and the lightsaber kit and the packaging has a girl on it. It's a new age.

I'd love to see pics of this bar and hear your review on it. Part of me wants to take a ride out to CA just to check it out. I hear a lot of celebrities can be found there too.

So who's planning to do the Force Friday midnight run? I put in for the day off work. I'm not worried about missing out on anything that's going to sell out permanently that night and I'm going to be careful what I buy this time, since in the past I jumped on high dollar items and later found them much, much cheaper. There is a $200 Stardestroyer playset on the list and I'm worried about that one being hard to find like the AT-ACTs, but even those found their way to me very inexpensively. I just want to go because it adds to the fun.

I'm planning to go out at midnight, but due to some pending personnel changes at work I may not be able to take Friday off. Waiting to see how this month is going to go. Sounds like there may be 30+ Funko Pop!s for TLJ, and if any are retailer exclusives coinciding with Force Friday, I'd really like to have the day off to chase them.

At this point I'll really only be after Pop!s and 4" figures since I got out of the 6" line.

I'll be hard pressed to search for Exclusive Pop!s, but I will not be going crazy over the others since history has shown that they can be picked up later and at a much better price.

I'm going to be trying for Thursday night at midnight and then I should be on Friday going out looking for Pops.

I keep putting off getting another Jedha pack on clearance and was going to go looking today or tomorrow but Kielbassa was nice and saved me the hunting and stashed one for me yesterday BIG THX K ! I started messing with the Benthic that I wanted to make, had no intention of getting as far as I did today. It's still a work in progress but its getting there. Needless to say the yard work didn't get done today after yesterdays storm.

Planning on doing what I've done the last few years for FF. Hit up TRU at midnight, then some WalMarts on the way home. Wake up early and swing by the Disney Store (if they have anything worthwhile) then Target and then the Pop! circuit (Hot Topic, GameStop, Barnes & Noble). This year I asked for the Friday off. I'm normally working and it's a killer.

The case ratios for Funko's SW mystery minis have been shown. This is the GameStop exclusive case assortment (Chewie is 1/8).

Here is the regular case breakdown.

These ratios kind kind of suck for the main characters. Especially Vader. Not sure how much I'll get into these.

Looks good, but I can't quite tell what's going on in the back.

I still have to add the straps for the backpack to mine. I got busy working on a new Ares (God of War) helmet for Fan Fest. I would wear the armor I already have, but they aren't allowing metal costumes in, so I made a helmet out of Sintra and will do the rest of the armor as well.

I DID mow my lawn this afternoon after work though. We barely got hit by the storm last night, so I'm guessing you got it a whole lot worse.

Those are pretty cute. Actually Chewie is one that I'm least interested in. He's not that great looking. I would like to have Momaw Nadon and Snaggletooth. They're cute.

The Target at Scottsdale Rd/Ashler Hills had almost everything SW on clearance, except the 6" Tank Driver exclusive. The Jedha Revolt was $7.50. They had 5 of them. I think someone here had mentioned them. Nothing worth getting for me though.

Damn! I just left Gilbert and Germann and they didn't have any Jedha Revolt sets. They had tons of clearance. Most was 30% off.

I'm still seeing the Jedha revolt sets for $12.48 at my Targets. I did pick up a few BS6 3-packs(Death Trooper Specialist, Jyn & Cassian) sets for $17.48 each, and a bunch of 3.75" "Vs" 2-packs for $4.48 each.
Anyone else notice Walmart put their Black Series figures back to regular price (BS3 & BS6). They're never going to get rid of all those Jyns and Cassians.

I saw that too. I was hoping it was just a mistake at my store. I guess not.

Two new Pop!s showing in B&N's system (Saw w/hair and chrome Death Star droid) may be shared NYCC exclusives:

Really Saw with hair was the best they could do ?? A chrome DSD I'm OK with.
I'm okay with both of them. Keep doing these kind of things for your exclusives Funko. Stay away from mainline characters.

I mentioned it the other day, but a couple weeks ago I visited the Scum & Villainy Cantina in Hollywood. I've been busy/lazy since I got back and barely put the memory card in my PC this week.

If you didn't know, it was a pop-up bar that opened in April or May sometime. We didn't know how long it would be open and they extended it to July and now they are staying open permanently with some slight changes. It required a reservation (they had walk-ups some days, but you wouldn't know until that day which doesn't really work living in AZ); and many days would sell out. You got a 2-hour period to go in, and the ticket was ~$50 which included a souvenir glass. You also got a couple of raffle tickets that could be exchanged for 2 free drinks and when you left you got a coin you could use to come back without reservations (IIRC). The biggest change to them being permanent is they have regular bar hours without the reservation requirement or any of the included swag. It's pretty much in the heart of Hollywood, it's about a mile or so East of Graumann's Theater.

But, how was it? It's an unofficial Star Wars bar, so there are no props or memorabilia, just a facsimile of the Mos Eisley Cantina. You could pick apart the accuracy, but it still does a good job to convey where you're at. It's kind of a small space, there's only like 4 booths and about 30 stools around the place. It wasn't packed when I went, but some people had to stand. They played dance music mostly, the Cantina song at least once. They have a full bar, but their specialty drinks are all pre-mixed sugary cocktails. They have a small food menu too. They bring you the food, but you have to order all the drinks and food from the bar; no waiters. A few people were in costume and they do encourage it. I went to the 4:30 entrance and one couple had their kids with them. I didn't really know what to expect when I went, but I had a good time. I can't really recommend you drive to Hollywood this weekend because you must experience it. If you're in the area when they're open, definitely check it out. With them having normal hours now you don't feel like you have to stay there the whole 2 hours. I thought the vibe and the atmosphere were really cool. I don't usually go to bars and I'm more of an introvert, so I stayed to myself pretty much. I think a lot of the experience is what you make it. It's a SW-themed bar & everyone there is a fan so it should be really easy to get into discussions with people. I had been interested in it back when they first announced it and when they announced dates for July, I figured I'd go for my birthday. I'm glad I went. It's not a must-do, but it can definitely be a good time.

VERY COOL!!! I agree that it's not something to make a special trip for, but definitely something to check out if in the area. Glad it went permanent.

So when is your birthday? We missed it.

HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY!!!
