Hot Toys K-2SO up for pre-order
$229.[SUP]99[/SUP]

So far I have not been able to get too excited about K-2SO. I think he has a cool look, but I'm worried he's going to be too slapstick. I hope that's not the case.
Maybe it is the color scheme because I have no other reason to think so but I'm kind of expecting a mild dark, somber tone to the droid. I have the SH Figuarts K-2S0 ordered which along with the Shoretrooper both of which should be shipping in the next day or two.

I saw a Jakks Big Fig Imperial Hovertank Pilot today at Target. It looked great, but I've been able to resist the temptation when it comes to this line...so far.
NO WAY!!! Which Target? I need to get this. Just have to resist wanting to make him a scale Hover tank to match.

Looks like there's a Shore Trooper hitting as well. I want both of these!

I would hope it does. Plus if it's anything like last year, we can claim some of our movie tickets too.
They do it for all Disney movies. You can link your asks DMR to Fandango and it'll automatically add the points when you make your purchases through there.

I have a feeling I'm the ONLY motorcycle rider in the AZ thread, but I think these are pretty cool. I may have to get the Fett helmet to go with my bobber. These are supposed to come out in 2017.

RDM-I'm thinking of picking up a few SH Figuarts figures. Where do you order yours from?
Please post up because I have considered a few too. I planned on Amazon, but if you can beat they're prices I'll go that route.

Short answer is that I preorder from CDJAPAN.

Long Answer is that the Figuarts line looks to be kind of in a transition right now. When I started picking up these figures a little over a year ago with the Darth Maul release, the easiest, most reliable option was to pre-order from one of a handful of sites (CDJAPAN, AMIAMI, HOBBYLINK JAPAN, NIPPON-YASAN, etc.). All the sites offered a slight discount for pre-ordering (typically 5% to 10%) which would sometimes be reduced or eliminated once the figures were released. Some sites also offer a point reward system similar to Sideshow (CDJAPAN is one of them). Pre-orders would sell out, pop up again for a little bit, sell out again, etc. so it was best to get your orders in as soon as possible.

Now, with the past few releases, we are starting to see less figures sell out at the pre-order or initial release stages and figures are starting to receive deeper discounts (in extreme cases ranging from 30% to 60%) from the above mentioned retailers and other outlets. Collectors are speculating that this is due to a few factors: increased production, poor figure choices (we've had a few AOTC characters recently), and poor figure design (Jango received a mixed to poor reaction from collectors...I personally passed on this one but with the deeper discount am reconsidering). Now people are starting to opt out of pre-ordering in anticipation of these discounts. I'm afraid that BANDAI is looking to course correct with what we are seeing with the AOTC Anakin pre-order. Anakin has a "first pressing", "limited edition", "whatever you want to call it edition" which is higher priced (about a $20 jump) and looks to come with a second lightsaber and/or alternate head. There have been other exclusives in the past with a few extra accessories and such but those have typically been sold via an even more limited number of websites/retailers. This is the first time I'm aware of where the "limited" version is available for pre-order via the normal avenues. This makes me afraid that they are going to start doing this for all/most figures to encourage pre-orders. Just speculation on my part as it is too soon to tell. The next few pre-orders will start to tell the tale. Full confession, I did pre-order the limited Anakin even though I know I shouldn't have so as to not encourage this...but seeing the upcoming Padme pushed me over the edge.

In addition to my normal pre-orders from CDJAPAN, I recently just picked up the ROTS clone for $33 shipped from e-bay seller "mykombini" who has a decent reputation based on the thread discussing these figures here. Until I receive this order though, I can't personally vouch for them. They currently have the ROTS Clone, Geonosis Battle Droid, & Jango for $31 shipped.

I'd be happy to let either of you piggy back on my orders in the future to help you save shipping costs.

Okay, now say that again 10 times fast!

Seriously though... Thanks for the excellent info. I don't plan to buy a lot of them, but maybe from time to time.

I forgot to mention I also stopped at AZ Ave & Ocotillo Gamestop and they had no new BS6 figures and knew nothing about new ones at other stores.

Thats because the gamestop employees are morons. You have to have them search black series s2. That narrows it down to the newest wave. A lot of stores already sold out of there shipment and the stores that still have them only may have Leia. The other black series figures ring up $12.97 but the s2 ring up $19.99.

I have an extra at-at driver if anyone needs one.

Picked up the 12" elite darth Vader for $20 and the death trooper for $35. The leia, Rey, Vader and kylo ren were on sale for $20 which is a steal! And elite non Rogue One were on sale for $15. They had all 3 of the Rogue One elite 12" but the death trooper was almost sold out. These are really well done for $35 and definitely worth getting the previous wave being on sale for $20.

RDM-When you get ready to do your next SH Figuarts order I might be interested in picking up a few figures. I really liked the look of Padme and Ben Kenobi. I might also pick up the Death Trooper and Han and maybe Chewy when they are released.

This would be a whole lot more informative if you mentioned the store you were at.

When I ordered the Rogue One soundtrack on Amazon it was $11.88. It has since dropped to $11.86, so they sent me an email about the pre-order price guarantee and that I was credited 2 cents.

WOO HOO!!!

We can have dinner tonight!

Do you know how long these sale prices are valid. I plan on hitting Disney Store on Sunday.

Good question, I walked in last night to see if they had the death trooper and low and behold the red packaged elite was all on sale. I'm guessing the weekend or at least through today. Remember blue package is still regular price. I opened the death trooper and these are nice figures even at the $35 price point. I would have thought Disney would have charged More for these. Jta reviewer thought these were what hasbro's versions would be if they still did 12" and I would say I agree. The faces on Rey and jyn are more barbie like though. Krennic is really cool I may get him if he drops from $35.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I saw the Rogue One Exclusive 3 pack--Jyn and Cassian (Eadu) and K2-SO at SS Walmart. There were plenty available on one side of a new endcap set. I didn't pick up because I believe all these figures are just a repackaging of the single card released figures. SS Walmart had a few Black Series 3.75 Cassians as well.

GF/mckellips Walmart has several 3.75" Black Series Imperial Death Troopers, One Cassian, 3 Jyn's and a few Emperor's Royal Guards.

Picked up some Rebels POPs!, including Chopper at Power/Mckelips Target and used the $10 off coupon. I received the Rebels set from Toy Wars but they sent me several damaged boxes so I needed to upgrade; plus I had to pick up Chopper since I have the Chopp variant. I also picked up Sabine, Hera and Ezra. I left Kanan x2, Chopper, Zeb, Ezra and Hera.

Cool, I wasn't aware there was two different ones is there anything different on the Droid or just the box ? Is one rarer than the other ?

HUGE THANKS to Eleyre for stashing the BIG FIGS Tank Driver and Shore Trooper at FLW Target.

Saw Rogue One today and I won't say anything more than I really wasn't expecting an elderly Jar Jar to be in it and especially such a prominent role.

I think it is just the labeling on the box. I believe Chopp is the more rare figure. The set I received from Toy Wars included Chopp and the picture on the back of all the Rebels boxes has the droid labeled Chopp. The Rebels droid with the label Chopper, I picked up at Target, has the corrected name Chopper listed on the back of the box as well where it shows the other available Rebels figures.

It sounds like a running change/mistake to me. I received mine from Toy Wars, but my packaging is in the recycle bin. If I think about it I may check to see what it says before I put the bin on the street today. I really don't care either way about packaging changes.
