According to the pictures that have surfaced we'll be seeing an arena Padme in the first wave of 2013, in the build a Droid line.
 
I just wish we were getting her on a vintage card. This was the one version of Padme I wanted most on vintage packaging. :(
 
As I've already said, this has been my most-wanted Star Wars figure since 2002...if it's an SA version with "Nexu battle damage" as it appears to be from the one picture I've seen. I would happily pay $10 for this, unlike almost every SW toy they've made recently.
 
It's about time! Only took them 10 years. Then again, it's been 12 years since a release of a Theed Battle Padme. I DO hope she's on the list to be produced sometime soon. I'll definitely be getting this

What's sad is that when this figure comes out, it will have been 4 1/2 years since the release of the Padme Evolutions 3-pack which contained the non-torn shirt version of this figure. All they had to do was retool the upper torso and one arm of that figure to give us the version we're getting in early 2013. We should have got the Arena Padme figure 2-3 years ago (and on a vintage card too!). :rolleyes:

I'd like to see a better image of her before deciding whether to pick this one up...the 'spy' photo doesn't give a clear look at proportions, etc. (which I seem to get hung up on)...
 
Good for the likers, a pass for me. Here's betting on the Evo sculpt with one or two new pieces.

We'll see better pictures soon enough.
 
I hope a senator version of her is also coming out. Two padmes were released last year. Hopefully that's the case this year.
 
FINALLY, after 11 years the original SAGA sculpt receives a modern, SA update.
Very fitting they chose to wait for AOTC's 3-D theatrical release. So excited for this version.

So glad they didn't decide to go MH on her, like they unfortunately did on TPM's Battle Dress version. We have yet to hear an announcement for an apology sculpt of her, and TPM Anakin.

Now we can finally move on to some of her Senator/ lakeside retreat outfits. Preferably released in three-packs.

'bout time! Looks ok from the picture, pesky stand obscures her a bit though!
 
Not exactly high on my list, never saw the big appeal of midriff Padme.

I'll probably get though her because she'll obviously be in a case I buy.
 
She's a big deal because she's a main character in the prequels and this is her most action oriented role. I want her to be on vintage cb so bad.
 
Finally! I've wanted a resculpt of this figure since pictures on the 2002 one were leaked. And has been number one on my prequel figure want list since Owen and Beru were made.

This is probably the biggest prequel figure for me. I hated the Saga version when it was new, and don't ever display the arena because I'm missing this figure.

This one wasn't high on my list either, but she's a definite buy. I'd really like to see a new Pilot Padme from AOTC, but this one is cool as well.

For what it's worth, it's my highest "priority" because it's my favorite character in what I consider to be her iconic outfit from the saga.

I suspect most people immediately think of one of the ornate dresses she wore in TPM, though, so I can see why I'd be in the minority on that.

Probably more than one!



I've just never been a fan of variants on main outfit, and all this is is her main outfit torn.
I don't begrudge anyone who wants her or for her being made, this one just not my cup of tea.

Looks great apart from the right wrist. Joints on bare flesh always look horrid. It's what ruined the Slave Leia figure.
 
This isn't a figure that it high on my list but Hasbro did a damn fine job on it.
 
I still have the Evo sculpt, Hasbro can kiss my keester, I am not handing over $10 for a new midriff. I'll wait for the secondary market, $5 sounds about right.
 
Ah, excellent. I've been waiting for this one. On the purchase list.
 
I love the new sculpt. If they do a buy 2 get one like TPM wave did I forsee getting this and anakin at the same time with maybe the scout trooper.
 
Ah arena Padme. I was hoping for Senator Padme, but this liiks great. Can we get a redo of pilot and Tatooine Padme while I'm dreaming?
 
I'll bit on this ONE only of that wave. Great for an opener, but very disappointed they couldn't get her on a VC card. Oh well, maybe when VC comes back.

Great point, rather of see even the original of this figure than the lame Naboo pilot repack on VC. Padme pilot was and still is an excellent figure. Way ahead of its time when it comes to face sculpts.
 
I'll chalk this one up as a "maybe." I already have the Evolutions version as well, so it'll all come down to how much extra cash I have in January (or whenever Wave 1 eventually hits).
 
Man, the face of the prototype looks beautiful ... hope Hasbros factory will get
the eyes, eyebrows and lips painted as good on the production figures. The face
is natalie spot on ... can't tell if it's the same sculpt from the Evo Padme, but I
also love the torn shirt ... definitive buy for me!
