It's Hasbro known contract that c**k blocks any competitor in the western market.
Yeah. I remember I accompanied an American expat after work to one of our local hobby markets. He saw all those SHF Star Wars on the shelves and started buying everything he could. He tried to explain himself saying that he couldn't find those figures in the US. I told him it's not a problem. I think he bought or 7? Jedi Luke, Obi-Wan, ROTS Anakin, and others that I can't recall. I didn't even know he was a Star Wars fan before that (we originally went there for Gundam).

Should I be worried nin-nin game hasn’t processed my Armorer figure yet? I hope it doesn’t lead to a dispute if they never give it to me. Has anyone ever had issues with them?

I have only used them twice before (for the Heavy Infantry Mandalorian and the Armorer) and didn't have any issues at all. Both times the figures arrived well packaged and received in the UK 5 days from being sent.

Hope you manage to get yours soon!

I’ve ordered four SH figs from them. All of them have been very timely except for ANH Leia. I wouldn’t worry but I would shoot them an email

Never has an issue with Nin-Nin.
I did email them to ship My Warehouse item (SHF Armorer) and they replied that they have thousands of requests that they are processing through.
So I am guessing they have a backlog of orders to process...
They processed my last Armorer pre-order as soon as it was in stock.

DHL is my problem, they always end up delivering a day or two late once the Japan packages arrive to my local DHL distribution area, very annoying...

Nin nin is solid; I've ordered many times. Only issue is not an issue, but my impatience. Most of the time when the item is in stock, they will send it out pretty quick.

Once recently, they will spent 2 weeks 'processing' a supposedly in stock item. I had wondered if they had had a small delay. Sent a message, they responded and item did go out. In the end, I've never had a true issue.

I’m in the second scenario, processing for weeks. I did place private warehouse instead of shipping so I’m worried it will be a long delay.

Just ordered the last in stock Mafex Death Trooper from HobbyLinkJapan. Seems they restock every few weeks on these, like the Shoretroopers, but they go quick...
Have one currently in a DT DLT-19D long rifle specialist configuration and needed another for the DT E-11D Specialist look.
Best 1/6 DTs around, a close second being the Bandai model kits...

Do they scale OK with each other? I only have the MAFEX but was thinking of army building with the kits.

Model kits are shorter in stature, but scale perfectly well, and have very good realistic proportions.
The Mafex is actually a bit too lanky for my liking, but they scale well together as a group just like the troopers in the movies.
Even the black series looks ok with all, but the crappy "toy" weapons and no-shiny finish give them away.

I payed MyKombini the shipping fee for the Armorer three weeks ago. Just got an email wanting $12 more dollars for shipping. Pretty peeved.

Kind of wish Nippon Yasan gave me the option.

After receiving the "We are processing your Armorer order", before I could even think, "will they give me the option to pay DHL/FedEx since JapanPost still isn't an option?" I got the "shipped via ferry" message.

I mean for $12, I may have gone with ferry anyway, but I'd like to have been presented with the option. :D

Here is a build of Bandai K2SO, with my own weathering, awesome figure, but has to be propped up well since its so light...
All my import 6" scale well with the 12" Hot Toys and complement them nicely...

When I build out the kits I use Deluxe Materials Liquid Gravity to add weight to them. Just fill some of the cavities with it
& set with CA glue. For troopers I usually do the lower legs, upper thigh, mid torso, & upper arms, making sure to balance it out. Astros I do the legs, bottom surround of the barrel, & inside bottom of the dome (above the ring).

Even your extraordinary skills can't save this one. Shoulders seem too wide, joints look strange and somehow he has no neck o_O
I added the longer neck peg and it's night and day. I also push his shoulders down a bit and keep the pauldrons pushed in. Altogether he looks a lot more lanky and streamlined and less chonky. Out of the box he looks way off.

You’re absolutely right. A new peg for the head/neck is a game changer. With a longer neck I think this figure is excellent. The helmet may still be a little too small but it’s much better looking than the warped black series helmet. I think the Mafex will be the best offered but the SH is light years ahead of Hasbro. Even with all the over the top engineering

The added weight helps in quite a few ways. The thing I noticed immediately was the handling of them was improved.
Without the weight they seem fragile & caused me to be over cautious, or almost afraid to handle them.

That Beskar spear is going to lure in so many of us, isn't it?
$9 unpainted or $15 painted.
I guess one from Bandai kit will be better and overall cheaper, considering you'll be able to get the whole figure with all the accessories for $30 or so, but I think I'll skip this one - Hasbro made too many mandalorians already.

Wow, really like the shiny armor on the Bandai model kit. I like that we have that option similar to how I got the C-3P0 kit to have a shiny gold option.

The parts of the shiney armour kit is a good way to fix up the black series and maybe even the SHF version.

I stand corrected. $30 for regular mando, $50 for one with chrome armor.
Where are you finding pricing info? I can't find any information about it other than here.
The cape is a strange omission since bandai kits don't usually shy away from them, but if anything is worthy of a nice aftermarket cape, it's a bandai kit.

I’m definitely all in for the painted version. Looks like it will be a nice easy build with minimal paint. Not that I mind the complex ones that require lots of paint but it’s also fun to do a quick build.
