Playworld was in Patchogue not Child World. TSS in Sayville...I got my 1st Star Wars figure there (R2-D2)

Using the way back machine:
-Modell's in Bayshore
-Modell's in Patchogue
-Ben Franklin in Oakdale (got my vintage 12 back small head Han Solo there.)
-Grants in Oakdale (went out and Ben Franklin took over)
-JCPenny in Bayshore They had a real toy dept once
-Sears in Bayshore (where Target is now) They too used to have a real toy dept.

Caldor and TSS in West Babylon.
Also I think I got some figs at Sevice Merchandise a long time ago.
KB Toys all over LI. I miss KB, at least it was another place to hunt.

Was it Play World in Patchogue? I remember the store well but not the name so thanks for clearing that up. It was located where the Staples is now on Sunrise and Waverly. I can still see the store during its final clearance sales prior to closing. My buddy bought a Tiffany Amber Theissen poster for $0.50.
