An interesting thing about the Purge Trooper is that you can easily fit in a Death Watch Mando jetback in place of his backpack. Same style peg.
I think during the pulsecon presentation they said they wanted to make a the backpack plugs uniform across all the figures.

Or it could be like the two sets I just got the other day from Amazon. I had requested them sent in an Amazon box, and they were, with plenty of room. But one of the Hasbro boxes was crunched across the top. Sure enough, inside the top of the figure box was crunched / creased / bent. Enough to split the black surface.

Although the figure cards inside are fine, I could see someone returning the set since the top of the figure box is damaged.

is it just me or did Hasbro use the legs of the animated Clone figures for the legs on the Purge Trooper... I figured they would have gone with the Stormtrooper legs

I noticed that too. I figured those Purge units were pulled from Clone units to ensure obedience and the armor was deemed best suited for the mission.

Yet foot peg holes aren't as important to them to be uniform it seems 🙄
Or neck posts.

I honestly don't even remember preordering this set, but it showed up a couple days ago. Did they ever have this one sale? I can't imagine myself ordering this at full price.

So far I only opened up one Purge . Its a nice figure, but the new pauldron and new belt belt are wobbly and do not sit snug.

Preorders are what's showing up now, so I don't think you caught a sale here :/

Well non uniform neck posts can be understandable for unlike characters like wookies vs battle droids. But from human to human, wookie to wookie, yeah. common neck posts would be nice. But foot pegs are intended to serve a practical purpose, but no uniformity makes them just about useless like using a mop in a house with only dirt floors

I’m going to start using that. I definitely have coworkers that are as useful as a mop in a dirt floor house.

I hope they do a 4pk for that Purge Trooper, I'd certainly buy that for $50!

I was pleasantly surprised by that figure. It still has the antiquated hips, ankles and wrists but the new torso is nice

Mmm yes, those hips... But I don't think they'll utilize the new phase2 sculpt for a troop pack soon enough to get a redo of this trooper out, or maybe they could since the game doesn't come out until March I'd expect a 4pk could follow late that year.

I would hope that it would be an easy thing to just interchange this torso onto the pelvis of the new phase 2 Clone that this could be a possiblity.

Yeah, he just looks cool. I want another one to match the two seen on screen.

Waiting for a deeper price cut. The extra Teeka can hang out among the Mos Eisley crowd.

I ended up having 6 Purge Troopers so far cause I found OK deals on ebay for multiples, but I want to keep one carded.

* I made two ISB field agents using the Kallus head an Elite Squad Trooper body.

I actually bought more of the FO Purge Trooper figure than I intended because of a sale! lol
So I too used one to make a BB version of Echo, what a pain that was... Honestly I couldn't think of much else to do with that sculpt, all Black Clone doesn't have much media coverage. And since Hasbro never made an FO Cal figure I see almost no point in keeping those Purge Troopers. I've got a couple standing in display next to Corvus Ahsoka because they look cool.

Meanwhile I'm patiently awaiting a 4-pk of this new OWK Purge Trooper!

Finally picked it up. It was on sale, but still felt it was expensive. However, I decided I should just get it while I can.

Here's some comparison pictures to the 6" one.

The backpack is removable on the VC one.

Just in case anyone cares, here's Obi Wan.

Compared to the 6" one. The cloak fits differently, but I also purposely made sure the VC one hung lower to hide the mid-torso joint. The backpack is solid piece, unlike the BS one that opens up.

I was not interested in Teeka and never bothered opening it.
