Luke's NOT a re-pack!!! It's a lot different then the other vintage figureindysolo007 said:Had them pull the cases of new figures at tru brockton. They said no first but then told me the street date is no more so sell away. I got dak, han, 3po, leia, at at commander, dengar, and cloud car pilot. Passed on the repacks like luke. I also got the cloud car and snow speeder.
I'm impressed. I got the half off sale too. I could not justify paying 10 for figure. They better be normal prices when widely released.
It's a 100% new sculptindysolo007 said:I noticed luke's face was slightly changed and the paint was better. It wasn't enough to convince me to buy it. I'm happy that the droid parts are gone! Now I am not forced to buy my 400th vader or 100th bespin luke.
I'm really liking this cloud car. 3po is my favorite figure of the wave for some strange reason, atat commander a close second.
Bring on the big AT AT!
Your correct on the repacks except it looks as if the Clone trooper is based on the Clone that came with the Gelagrub.indysolo007 said:Bossk, in the next wave what is the breakdown of repacks? Looked like anakin, obi wan, sandtrooper, cody and clone repacks? Emperor, greivous and magna guard new?
Now you can buy them at these markup prices here. http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Vintage-Collection-2010-BOBA-FETT-/150462522485?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230843e475Bossk_MR said:TRU in Natick Massachusetts had 1 case of the NEW packaging Clone Wars, Legends & Vintage figures this morning. They also had a case of vehicles as well.
I found the Kashyyk ones at a Target just on a whim (my memory fails me right now as to which Target exactly it was...maybe Fram/Natick), I wasn't even really looking for them at the time, as I remember. It was quite a long time ago now that I recall, probably the very first time they shipped.indysolo007 said:Did any one have any luck finding the exar kun or kashyyyk comic packs? I found the other 3 but never had any luck finding the last two.
That's the all-around-reports for the entire North American continent right now I think. Targets & Walmarts are just waiting on their fall resets if I had to guess, then the vintage stuff will start hitting. But I wouldn't doubt if they miss first 2 or maybe even 3 waves. Idk, we'll see.HeadlessGree said:be lucky to find anything at Targets...shelves are picked clean in NH waiting for the new stuff to arrive...finally got a first hand look at Vintage line at TRU in Nashua...next day all gone!!
As indysolo previously explained---in past releases, these were looked at as "premium" type figures, thus the mark up at the time to like 12.99. Whereas now these figures are simply going to be the new Hasbro Basic Line (in essence, just replacing the B-A-D line), therefore the lack for any kind of protective packaging, as 95% of people buy these to have/play with/pose/display/etc the figure inside the packaging anyhow.iluvsnowtroopers said:Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't these $10 figs come with protective cases last time? Did Hasbro say why no plastic cases this time?
Many of these will remain on the pegs due to damage methinks.
