Star Wars Retro Collection NED-B

The 3.75-inch-scale Retro Collection figure is detailed to look like the NED-B character from Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action series on Disney Plus, featuring design and detailing inspired by 1970s Star Wars figures.

Did you purchase this Ned-B retro figure?

Yes, I found him at Target along with retro Obi-Wan, and retro Reva. Only purchased him though. I'm a sucker for droids.

Outside of the updated new Vader this one is my favorite.

This will be the one and only Retro figure I get, he'll look great with a wash to bring out the details and dirty him up a bit.

Phew! I was thinking gastro-intestinal. You'd definitely want that one to ship and arrive first.
That fan card art is awesome, the official version is good, nothing to complain about but that one you posted really is something.
I am really hoping to see a realistic version in 3 3/4 scale at some point too.

I'm laughing but I like that SW / OWK logo much more than the generic one Hasbro has been cranking out for non-trilogy (OT or PT) cards. It was nice to see the BOBF one was something new. I've been saying since the first Mandalorian figures hit VC, that it was a shame Hasbro didn't use the existing logo from that show.

@RogueStar - I completely agree!

Mileage no-doubt varies, but I’ve always been a fan of the more ‘sci-fi’ looking fonts in SW - rather than the serif font - which started being used with ROTJ.

The generic serif font is overused, IMO, and is the least creative of all the fonts in SW (and the most ‘earth-based’ in my mind).

Obi-Wan:
So what's new with the Path... is that you, Tala?

Tala:
Just got my hair done, you like it? It's called reJunovation by Eclipse!

Obi-Wan:
Also weren't you taller-

Dude, what's wrong with your knees?

Tala:
He's a Retro model, they don't have knees, or elbows, or deco...
The D1S-N3Y upgrade is hard to get and I'd get saddled with three droids I don't want. So I got-

Obi-Wan:
And what's this sad excuse for a base anyway? These walls look like cardbo-

BONK!

NED-B:
Hon, you can do so much better.

Popped this one open today, and I like what a solid figure this is - the colors remind me of the vintage Droids C-3PO from the animated series (which needs a reissue!). The sculpt and proportions make me think of the ST era basic figures, specifically droids like PZ-4CO. Its an interesting combo, but overall feels more like a basic 5 POA movie line release. I really like it, and its equally as cool as Vader - best two from the wave.

That's a good analogy and right on the nose, I think.

I’m hoping to find one or two more of these to open. It’s such a great looking droid in my opinion. The one I have opened is holding a clone wars battle droid blaster and while not perfect, it’s cool looking
If you have Prime, they usually have listings in the warehouse deals for around $8. The cards will be damaged, but if you want to open anyway, its a good option.
