Figures.com have confirmed with NECA's Head of Product Development, Randy Falk, that the collectibles company will be producing action figures based on Predator, Predator 2 and the upcoming Nimród Antal directed entry, Predators. The figures will focus on the Predators and their many unique looks as seen in the three films. No human characters are immediately planned, though they are a possibility in the future.

Fans can expect a look at some of the classic Predator figures at the US Toy Fair starting February 14th. However, figures from Predators will be kept top secret, per Twentieth Century-Fox's request, until closer to the movie's release this summer.

No news on any AvP figures. Anyone going to be collecting the upcoming figures?

I'd love the original Predator as a NECA figure. Maybe I'll get the one from the second movie, but I hope they make the Predator Elder that gives Danny Glover the flintlock.

And if they made a Dutch... ooh boy...

I'd collect the NECA stuff if they did human figures also. I really thought that they'd produce figures for the new AVP game, if they were colonial marines figures I'd be buying a lot of their products.

Glad they have finally decided to make another non wolf pred. Hope they give them more articulation, like alien, aliens and avpr alien also did.
I dont know why they wont make humans, neca really missed a great chance to make a decent hicks, and who wouldnt buy dutch, sole etc. Not only that but they have arnie moulds, just more articuation

It is great news considering how good the Terminator 2 figures were, but no humans limits them on what they can make. Otherwise it will be just like the McFarlane version of Aliens were we get different looking figures.

I hope they make humans as Dutch would be awesome, but so would Peter Keyes (Gary Busey).

The press release does say no human figures for now. I would love to see a Dutch figure. But a Predator will be fine for now...

wow, this is cool. even if they dont make human figures although i think dutch would be a given, i only really want a masked and unmasked predator from the first film. i was dissapointed when they didnt make a "regular" predator from the AVP line, so i had to make due with a masked AVPR predator. i also hope they dont make him too statue like and give him the same amount of articulation as the T2 arnold figures.

I would buy these so quick if they turn out to be 4"ish scale

They won't be and my only solace will be in the obnoxiously rare Microman one, won't it?

Then they are nothing to me. Nothing but the fragments of broken dreams

Also, I totally loved that Predator toyline as a kid and would kill for something along its lines (But smaller so they can fight Joes, Stormtroopers and be towered over by Transformers), but clearly I am way out of the target audience here

But face it, the Elder Predator with STILT BOOTS was awesome, as was the Flying Queen

Revoltech are putting out small scale (About 4-5inch) versions of the classic Alien and a new Predator.

Pricey, but small, accurate, lots of POA, and able to take on Joes and others!

I hope they make Predators won't have that stupid looking slanted pose.

And have those claw gauntlets, and a removable helmet.

The figures from the new movie were not allowed to be shown....look for those to show up online sometime between now and ComicCOn.

From what I've been told, the Predators in the new PREDATORS film are new versions of the aliens that have never been seen before.

Well, except for that one time on Facebook...

The classic figures look really cool, but I can't wait to see the new Predators figures. Especially now that there's actually a bit of footage available.

I'm definitely down for the Predator from the first film. Wish we could get a Dutch to go with it.

Forgive me if this question seems dumb, but I haven't been keeping up with this section as much as I'd like, so here it goes: I can't tell from the Toy Fair pics, so would anybody mind telling me if those figures as well as the upcoming Predators figures will be in the same scale as NECA's AVP:R and classic Alien figures? Thanks.

It hasn't been explicitly stated, but I think it's safe to assume they are. All of NECAs figures are pretty much the same scale, except for a few obvious exceptions like Gremlins.

1st Series of 7" Figures... kinda sorta revealed by Neca earlier this week.

(Regarding the samples shown at Toy Fair - the classic Predator and what appeared to be Predator 2's Elder Predator - I'm pretty sure those were actually 12" figures.)

Series 1 in the 7" scale will include:
- Classic Predator (presumably the one from the original movie... unless there are 'classic' predators involved in the upcoming flick?)
- Falconer Predator (from upcoming Predators)
- Berserker Predator (also from upcoming Predators)

Can't wait!

They were 12" figures, two-ups of the 7" versions that are coming. Though one or more may come out as 12" figures too.

I hope the classic Predator is the same as the original movie. Cos I REALLY want Sideshow to do a PF of the Predator.

Finally, a pic of the Predators figures...

I like the cards. Oh boy, I can't wait to see these in the stores, or at least better/loose pictures. I'm pretty excited for the movie, please let it be decent...

The classic one looks awesome. I know there's a lot of hate for the movie, but I'd like to see the main Pred (was it "Scar"?) from AvP in this line.

the addition of the classic predator makes me think he'll show up at the end about to head to earth. since this is what a prequel/reboot/sequel thing?

I agree. That packaging is something to behold. All three figures look excellent too. Let's just hope the figure quality stays consistent throughout the line, as I'd hate to see a repeat of the Predalien sculpt. Also, that classic Predator is going to look so sweet going up against NECA's classic Alien once I get my hands on him.

the first pred looks classic, the other 2 look like predator's retarded cousins.
