OMG !! OMG !!! OMG !!!!!:love::love::love:

Just saw the images of NECA´s BTTF figures and these are way awesome. Although not exactly in scale, they will be indeed a great addition to my Eaglemoss DMC showcase.

Cant wait to get them and cant await the announcement for Doc. Brown, Loraine and more. I am pretty sure they will come up with every possible version of the car, but I hope they will to a die cast of Doc´s train also.

pre-ordered these this morning from Entertainmentearth.com Neca by me is always scarce so I didn't want to take the chance and miss out on these.

So, in an unpredictable move, Tomy has announced a BTTF licenced Time Machine in scale with the figures. Nice.

Ill be keeping my eye on this.

When I entered in my name and e-mail for early access it indicated that the early access pricing is $299. It also stated if you reserve a spot for $5 now it will also come with an Einstein figure and priority shipping.

Die cast metal parts, working interior and exterior lights, smoke from the rear, I think its worth it especially for the early bird pricing. I was thinking to get either the Star Wars or GI Joe Haslab this year, but this TOMY BTTF DeLorean trumps all that for me personally.

Edit; I forget to say, "woah, this is heavy" 😅

Nice one indeed

The Eaglemoss Delorean is about 20,5 inches long ( scaled 1/8 ) and even it is actually slightly to big for NECA figures, it still looks nice displayed with them.
Visitors who don´t know the real size of a DMC don´t notice the differnce in scale, and get eyecatched again and again every time they drop by.

Anyway, would be awesome to learn more details about that TOMY one ( TOMY is part of BANDAI, right ? )

Well I think its safe to say the NECA line is over. Its a shame, but it was a great run and we got some awesome figures.
I get that if the sales aren't there, then it cant continue. I just wish they would find a way to release Marty and Doc from Part III. Surely if it could be a direct to consumer exclusive 2-pack, it might work, I really hope they can find a way to do it.

Agree, I would love to add at least Steampunk-Sniper-Doc and Clint-Easwood-Marty to the collection.
They could do them exclusive to their NECA-Store again, like they did the Accesory Set w/ Einstein.

Yeah they finally got Sarah Connor out in that 2-pack. Maybe that was an exclusive?
I hope they can get Doc and Marty, there should be enough demand for an exclusive?

They covered a lot of ground. But it feels a bit incomplete without at least 2 Part III figures.

Part III figures are a must. They could make at least three two-packs:

1955 Marty (nuclear cowboy outfit with alternate bowler hat headsculpt) and 1955 Doc with hat and pistol
1885 Doc (sniper rifle and alternate train heist headsculpt) and Clara Clayton (purple dress)
1885 Marty (Clint Eastwood) and Buford Tannen

Then again, I feel even the first and second film are missing a few key figures:

1955 Johnny B. Goode Marty and Lorraine
1955 "Undercover" Marty and Mr. Strickland
Alternate 1985 Marty (red t-shirt) and Biff Tannen (night robe)
2015 Marty Jr. and Old Biff Tannen

1955 Doc (silver robe with that exclusive mind-reading hat)
1955 George McFly (the NECA will pay anything for Crispin Glover's likeness rights edition)
Super exclusive: alternate 1985 nightgown Stricktland with pumpgun would make for a nice exclusive)

I like your optimism ;)

Me too 😉 but the truth as mentioned above, the BTTF line is done for NECA I guess. It took them almost a year from announcment to final offer of their Einstein-Set, so I wouldn't bet on anything to follow now 😫
Dunno, kind of feels like, when they offer an accesoiry set, its always the final touch of the line.
BTTF Acc. was the final breath, Aliens ( movie marines ) was done after the armory set and there are no new announcments for Gremlins either since the Acc. set hit.
IMO they are focusing way to much on TMNT and they forget that there are some other great licenses in their portfolio 😫😫

I wish they'd re-release the accessory set. I'm still mad at myself for not getting it. I was just already kind of cranky about having to pay like $60 total for that The Thing figure that went on sale at the same time and figured I'd spent enough money...

Has there ever been any announcement on what's going on with this license? BBF3? You know, IMO BTTF3 is among the most underappreciated sequels of all time. I don't simply like it; I really like it. It would be such a shame to never see figures from that flick.

I wanted to get it, but I didn't due to budgeting for something else IIRC. Kind of regret it now as I backed the Tomy Delorean, and really think the chest of plutonium would go nicely with it.

you are right. The only hope I have is NECA often releases a somewhat detached exclusive for an event now and again. Looks at this years Halloween figure. So whilst I dont expect a wave of figures anymore. I do hold out hope for 1 item, maybe a 2-pack. I would love a Part III Marty & Doc 2-pack, and Im sortof thinking its possible. Maybe they have to get it done before their licence lapses?

This was over 6 months ago and still nothing. Maybe one day they'll give us the Part 3 figures.......

Theres no assuming, this line is over :(

Me too, Im waiting on the Tomy Time Machine too. Its going to be amazing.
At least we got life preserver Marty and Hazmat suit Doc. If you were to boil the entire franchise down to two figures it'd be those two. Oh and we got Einstein the dog. With the Tomy Delorean that'll be an iconic display by itself.

Yesterdays Update of this is causing some unrest.
This delay doesnt seem to be communicated very well. And a lot of the detailing of the interior seems lost.

Not encouraging at all....

I started picking these up a while back. I currently have the 55 Doc Brown sitting in my pile of Loot on BBTS.

Once I have him, audition Marty and Griff? I think I will have the entire line. Shame we are unlikely to get anything from BttF 3.

Randy at NECA had mentioned them a few times. But sadly nothing.

Next year however IS the anniversary. Maybe theres a chance?

We can hope!
Seems like some licensees are doing something. Jada already revealed a mini diorama. It would be a shame if NECA cant get anything out (assuming they still have the licence, which they may not) A BTTF Part III 2-pack of Doc and Marty would surely be a decent seller for a retailer as an exclusive maybe?....
