I actually have an Elite Corps ROTS Clone bust coming next week too. The others aren't GG but I love these McQ statues.

This last photo is from a couple weeks ago, before I got my Vader McQ. The SW bins contain 6" Black Series figures (only 40th retro cards, exclusives and OT troops).

Nice little gang of mini-busts you have there BUT those McQuarrie statues are definitely the eye draw. :)

Thanks for sharing pictures of your collection. Great taste in collectibles; those McQuarrie statues are a reflection of that!

Thank you everyone for the positive comments, I appreciate them ;)!

So to answer some questions, yes the Classic Fett busts are from Gamestop. Actually so are the Rogue One and Sequels busts as well. The rest of the busts I got off GG or ebay.

The McQuarrie statues are my prizes for sure. That Vader exclusive took some doing to get at the right price and many emails to ebay members LOL.

I never knew how I felt about 1/5 scale then I got these and was like WOW. I recently bought a Tusken 1/5 Attakus from a member on here and I am looking into a Jawa and Vader, as 1/5 scale just is so impressive in person.

Lastly, this is my "closet geek" collection as my wife calls it haha. I have these in my sports room which is full of game worn and signed helmets, jerseys, bats and takes up the entire room and then some. One of my goals (whenever we move) to is to get the proper space to display both collections the right way.

This is Django's thread for his collection. You shouldn't be hijacking his thread with a ton of pictures from your own collection. If you are so eager to show what you have, get a better camera and make your own Lime-lighting and Display thread.

- Django: Thank you for showing your collection. Very nice choices you made in your purchasing.

To be honest, I have been traveling and busy so I guess I missed the photos that were once there. I wouldn't have minded LOL.

Some updated photos of new items. I have an Exclusive Blue Clonetrooper 1/6 GG statue coming as well that will go in the middle of my AOTC shelf.

Congrats on the Tusken and the bounty hunter, Django. The Zam statue looks very nice. I've been wanting to know for a while now, are Zam, the Kouhun and the top of the vile attached to the base? I had the idea at one point I could place the statue on a different, smaller base if those were removable? Thanks.

Thanks man! So Zam attaches with two pegs on the bottom of her feet to the base. One thing that is odd about it is she doesn't really center on the huge base either, she sits near the edge which visually looks great but wastes lots of space (hence the Jango bust being added). The Kouhun and top of the vile are not attached to the base and can be moved wherever though which is nice.

I know the Padme Snowbunny is removable because the base has the pegs and the box she is sitting on slides onto it. I wish they would of done that here.

Also, obviously it's time for me to switch to that other service. Photobucket really is horrible now...

Yeah. Well, at least some of your pictures are showing. When it happened to me, ALL my pictures were gone and replaced by the "Upgrade Now" meter image, plus the amount of ads I was being bombarded with was unbearable. You'll be much happier using any other free image hosting place.

I see! Thank you for letting me know about Zam. If I would have known this a year ago, I would have bought her from the ThinkGeek store at the local mall where she was being sold for $124.00, and would have replaced the base. If a good deal comes around, I might just do that. I really like the pose, and would probably display her with the alien head.

- Do you have the arm-less mini of of hers? That one could also look good on the base. Like two takes on the character: statue and mini bust.

The ad thing is horrific on there. I had to sign up for Adblock just to be able to LOG IN. I am quite serious about that. I am switching this weekend when I have time to get all my new photos uploaded to a new service and take the old ones down from Photobucket.

So what base did you have in mind? Because though I really love the statue I hate the massive base. Any ideas would be welcome as I would consider switching her out for sure. The clone statue I got has a base that is literally half the size of Zam's and tolerable. $124 is a great deal, I was happy at $150!

Ironically personally I hate the Alien head and also hated it in the movie, even though it's a cool concept from Lucas. It's well sculpted and all, I just think it's fugly and the actress who played her is quite attractive so that head will never be on mine personally LOL. I do not have the mini bust, been tempted to get her lots of times (and it would go great with my classic line as would Count Dooku, Obi Wan and Mace) but I wasn't sure if she was well done or not (the whole human sculpt thing). You should see my post on the Zam thread. I tell a story about why I put Jango on there and why I like it haha.

Though this makes me go GRRR...what a great deal on the Zam statue from Amazon!

The price now is $106.46 with free shipping, so it went down even more. That's the best deal I've seen on her.

Yep, even with me waiting I overpaid LOL. Oh well...

It happens all the time to all of us at some point or another. Every time I remember how much I paid in 2004 for the Clone Lieutenant ( Blue clone exclusive) mini bust, ready?... $600.00! I feel it was the biggest overpaid I've ever made, but it was the going rate at the time and I really wanted one. I paid that much because I could afford it, but seeing it sell sometimes today for around $200.00 it's like ...Damn!. The way I see it, as long as we can get what we want when we want it without causing any financial struggle, then it's all good. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose, and the $150.00 you paid for your Zam statue isn't that much of a difference from the $106.00 it is selling for after all. :)

Except, I paid taxes and shipping on Zam making her closer to $175. Messa not happy about dat!

But you are right, you win and lose. I have gotten rid of figures at the right time and made nice profits and then bought at the right time and got them for nothing. I got my Aayla Secura bust for near nothing, and the guy all but threw in the ROTS Vader bust too. That was a huge win. However I have got burnt twice now on buying direct from GG (the McQuarrie Han and now the 1/6 Zam). So in the future, I'll have to think twice about it no matter the sale.

Looking good, thinking the mini-busts are going to need a bit more space if your going to add to the collection though. ;)

Thanks Kev. You are right and the Flametrooper is coming still this weekend with nowhere to go :(. Also what do you think is a good price for the 1/5 Attakus Cody? I see a couple out there now for $350-$380 shipped. Both as you said look really nice, I like the Order 66 one but the other one is quite nice as well.

I have seen a few turn up cheaper than that $250.00-$300.00 so it might be worth hanging on a little while & seeing what others get listed first, the ready to fight statue tends to be cheaper than the order 66 version but when you have them in hand they both look stunning. :)

Added the Flametrooper today. I seriously need a bigger boat as the shelf space for mini busts is now to capacity. When I move and get more space also going to sort them by Classic and armed busts.

Added XM Boba Fett today, also picked up the old the Legends in 3D Boba ESB bust again I once owned in the '90s :). Something old and something new.

Congrats! Very cool statue and a reminder of Hasbro's Unleashed figure, which I still own:

Thanks Julian!

Yep, that is my FAVORITE toy line EVER! I love this Fett figure and it's why I love the XM Fett too! Aayla Secura, Slave Leia, Vader 1, Tusken Raider, Clones, Mace Windu, ROTS Obi Wan, Padme AOTC, Count Dooku AOTC and Jango AOTC are all incredible figures from that series. Ironically Hasbro reused the Luke X-Wing mold for the new Black Series Centerpiece LOL.

Yeah. Unleashed has always been my favorite Hasbro line combining artistic interpretations with great detailing. I wrote a guide about them back in the day because of how impacted I was by it. I think XM follows the same pattern as Unleashed did with sculpts and poses of the characters in a very dynamic way. Provided I had the display room for these large statues, I probably would have bought, at least, one of them. Again, congrats on the new addition to your collection!

I love your 2006 graphics :). As someone who was also a Graphic Designer at that time your style is reflective of that period. I know pieces I did back then look very similar. But it is a very informative article and good read! I felt the Unleashed line really took off when they started doing the beautiful illustrations of the figures for card backs. Then they felt like true artistic representations.

I loved going through all the pages and graphics though, like a time machine to how AWESOME those figures were! I now want the female figures and tubed figures from that line again LOL.

I also agree, I think XM are the adult versions of Unleashed figures for us now that were still in our 20s (barely) back during the Unleashed days.
