Honestly I doubt it’s Hasbro. They know we want these things. Licensor approval is a big, big blockade in terms of getting these nonstandard products out. There’s been team members who’ve talked about Lucasfilm denying a ROTS Anakin update, which is easily one of the most request figures in the line. Imagine what’s been pitched that we haven’t seen.

It's easy to forget that bottleneck of decisions, but now that you mention it, I am sure that is where many good ideas go to die, too.

I can only imagine how suffocating it must be for your job satisfaction to constantly have to downgrade at the request of the licensor, knowing well that your ideas are what your customers want.

Maybe that's what they've been trying to convey with their lack of enthusiasm in the "live" streams.
Like that hostage that blinked a secret message in morse code on television.

3.75 collectors probably remember Stan’s rumors. His timetable was incredibly off by the “end” of the line (2014 before tvc returned), but I’m 99% sure he was privy to things that were sculpted but never came out. I’m willing to bet TVC YakFace, Klaatu, Lobot, ect were mocked up at least a decade before their actual release.

What's really sad is that they already had considerable tooling paid for by the Doc release, so I feel it's extra screwy to pop it into DLX price point when it's just kitbash/retool.

Hasbro have to make money somehow, yeah we don’t like it but that’s the way it is.

Honestly it makes a lot of sense, if they do. But it will probably be deluxe price.
Or in a couple of months we will get Momaw with his other weapons (for a deluxe price)

That would make sense. In other words: it's unlikely to happen. Knowing hasbro, it's far more likely that we will see the body-buck being re-used in the hologramm or holiday collection.

Makes me wish they did a 6” scale Cantina instead of a 3inch version

As someone who prints 1/12 dioramas, I think having half the bar in the cantina set is all you could reasonably hope for at retail.

I've got a model of the Greedo alcove and just that is part is about 7 inches square. Add three of them, a bar, the entrance you're taking alt of real estate. And that ignores a place for the band.

I do wish they would offer more world building props (including modular walls) though. To me it's a no brainer. High margin, low r and d, and easy repaints for many (Tattooine walls can easily be used for Navarro etc)

I'm wondering if this one will be repacked in a 50th anniversary of A New Hope, kinda like what they did for the 40th. It could be an easy 2 waves:

Wave 1: Ceremonial Luke, Ceremonial Leia, Ceremonial Han, Greedo, Figrin Dan
Wave 2: Ponda Baba, Dr Evansan, R5D4, Death Star Droid, Snaggletooth
Deluxe : Momaw Nadon, Gonk Droid

Those waves would also complete all the original 20 A New Hope figures from Kenner.

Between how long it takes and literally thirty-fifty cancellations in the past year between a friend and I who also uses EE (he still does, I’ve all but stopped), I’m more than willing to pay the $50 a year for Pulse free shipping. It paid for itself with The Ghost and I plan on renewing.

Got my Momaw the other day and he’s fantastic. I really wish they’d do more OT aliens. Zutton, Nabrun, Garindan, Myo, Pons, Weequay, Yak Face, Klaatu, Wooof, Barada, Nikto, Nien—these are just a few I’d snatch up in a heartbeat.

My Pulse order arrived earlier in the week. One of the few figures in the 6” line I purchased this year. He has been one of my most wanted since the line began (was my #1 want in the VC line the last few years). He is definitely worth the wait & a fantastic figure. Great job Hasbro.

I purchased Hasbro Pulse premium so I could get free shipping and whatever other perks they offer, and I noticed Momaw Nadon came back in stock. Well, I ordered one almost a week ago and my figure hasn't even processed yet. So much for the premium perks!!
