One Ithorian, three cups!
I think the figure comes with a pice of the cantina as well. I want to say the table he sat at. Never mind, he doesn’t.I don't understand all the negativity regarding Deluxe pricing...did anyone see the cups? Not cup, but cupS(!!)...as in 3...cups....
But am I getting him and paying the Deluxe Cup Fee...yep.
Am I throwing away all 3 cups...yep.
I would have expected that staff too. IIRC the Sideshow Hammerhead did also have it so I thought this would be some kind of canonized character acc. nowYou’re right - I was actually confusing him with Bib Fortuna!
It was the Saga Momaw came with a staff, and I always liked it. I wish we could’ve gotten it at this scale.

2 mouths and 1 more so he doesn’t need to leave his seat.He obviously has holes I'm unaware of to need 3 cups......

I’m afraid they’re charging an OT tax. Just like the Rebel Commando who was no more deluxe than the Hoth Soldier.Beautiful figure. But it has no business being “deluxe”.
07 in the "A New Hope" range. Obviously theres been way more than that but they reset the numbers when they went to the "Galaxy" packaging (ie the boxes with a mural on the side) after the red boxes.Question from a TVC collector:
There's a number "07" below the character's name on the packaging. What does that indicate? Is Momaw Nadon #7 in a series of Cantina Patrons? The 7th release in a series of somehow related "Deluxe" figures? The 7th new Black Series figure of 2024? Something else? What does it mean?
Imagine if this were only actually the seventh character from 1977 Star Wars we’ve gotten so far in 11 years of the Black Series. Galaxy-brained Hasbro has delivered to us Ponda Baba, Dr. Evazan, Ceremony Leia, Figrin D’an, Nalan Cheel, Vader and Momaw Nadon. It’s like a monkey were picking characters to sculpt.07 in the "A New Hope" range. Instead of an overall numbering scheme like Phases I~III, Phase IV (also Phase V) has sub-lines with side art murals for each property (i.e. A New Hope, The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, etc.). Momaw Nadon is #07 in the "A New Hope" sub-line. It's indicative of where the side art fits in the overall mural of the property for figures in Phase IV (i.e. mural) packaging. Here are the first five in the ANH sub-line via Galactic Figures. #06 is A-List Vader. There's a number "07" below the character's name on the packaging. What does that indicate?

The picture on the side of the box shows how bad the Ponda baba figure really is.Instead of an overall numbering scheme like Phases I~III, Phase IV (also Phase V) has sub-lines with side art murals for each property (i.e. A New Hope, The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, etc.). Guessing they were already sculpted (Bib Fortuna or the POTF-themed 3-pack) and easy little trinkets to throw in to try to justify the deluxe pricing. The cups here are so perplexing. Why? I just….
Anyway I’m going to hope this means they have plans to follow up with the second part to the Cantina Showdown 3 pack, which oddly only came with half a bar.
The second connecting part of the bar, Wuher, and two aliens like Kabe/Muftak would be perfect.
Hasbro should be smart and offer the bar sections on Pulse. $5 for a 5" length bar. Maybe $5 for 1/2 a curve. All of course can connect to each other. Let fans build their own bar. They have the tooling already so it is just making them. Doesn't even have to be in a fancy box.
Would take some new tooling but make the little drink dispenser thing behind the bar. How about a little base with holes in the top that various pipe parts can plug into (and others plug into that). Throw in a IG-88 head that can also plug into the base. While they can give instructions on the 'official' build, fans could customize it any way they want. Basic or a super complicated pipe cluster.
Now as you mentioned it, wasn't there some talk sometime ago, either at a Pulse Stream or at a Convention Panel, about possible accessory packs... I think to remember something like this, as I was instantly hoping for some force-/blaster effectsCall it a "Barmy-builder-pack"
I like this idea - unfortunately Hasbro seem reluctant to give us anything resembling accessory packs and the likes.
Edit: and frankly, 3rd party suppliers do a better job. Way more comprehensive in their offerings too and often more accurate as well.
