My friend found this gem at an antique shop for less than $100. Is this a 'too good to be true' find? Based on all my research online this is an extremely rare MOC find.

Its definitely legit, but without better pics of the seal its tough to tell if its a reseal or not. But on first glance the seal looks good.

Regardless, that's one epic score. A very rare MOC indeed!

Told you this way you would get the experts looking at it and give you the right info.
Anyway cool piece.

He found it at an antique shop in Wisconsin? How does that even happen? :)

I know, right. That's why I was concerned. With it was a Glasslite R2-D2 MOC and a few modern (PotF orange) trilogos. Someone was into foreign cards and then stopped... or maybe passed on. I hope not the latter though.

you should sell it to martijn :)

Looks very real, even the squared 'foggy' areas around the bubble is authentic,I saw the same on a Tie Pilot. IF he wants to sell, drop me a line...thanks, Michael

Tell your friend I'm happy to double his money ;)

Based on everything I've read/seen, this is one of the rarest of these Uzay figures.
Rarer than Blue Stars by a mile according to one post I found. Should easily fetch its current owner 10k or close to it.
You can buy a lot of decent Kenner pieces with that kind of money, if bootlegs aren't his thing.

It would certainly NOT easily fetch $10k. As rare as this figure is, it is a total niche piece. Only the Uzay MOC completists will shell out big bucks for it. While there are hundreds of people who would pay more than $10k for a rocket Fett, I can count on both hands the number of collectors who would go all out on this one...and none would pay that much.

That being said, its still a great piece, and I would rather have it over a rocket fett any day :)

This Moc ISIN great condition and is indeed a raren Uzay, but 10k is u,realistic.
You'll surely end with a figure ending on 3 zero's, but price depends On who's intrested and how far are They willing to go.
If you want the fair market value for it, trow it On eBay and auction it off.
You'll surely wil gain profit off this, only its undecided how much.

Its funny, but based on your past posts, especially this one, I get the feeling you know a lot more about bootlegs than you're leading on :p

But its nice attempt at getting the price artificially inflated for everyone interested. Strong work, bootleg king.
