I think the Noghri never made it to the production stage, or at least that's what Hasbro claimed. Hpwever, we did have a tiny picture of it and it looked like a finished figure to me.

Essentially the sculpt on the digital-design cardback we saw is the same as Aalya Secura was at CV; it’s a sculpt with all the joints, but they just haven’t had casts taken and made into ‘tools’ which the plastic is cast into. Essentially all of the ‘press photos’ are the sculpts which the sculptor has created, thus leading to the often difference in the sculpt compared to the mass-production piece.

I see. So, I guess even though it seems that the Noghri was slated to come before Mirith Sinn, Mirith has actually been tooled.
Was Mirith supposed to come with Nom Anor? If so, she was kept a secret for a long time then because I think we've known Nom has been coming for a while.

She's a Mara Jade wannabe from the Crimson Empire comics.Maynard said:This sounds like a Cantina patron. Or maybe a Jabba's Palace hang-around'er. Or is this an EU character? If so, from where(novel/comic, also timeframe he lived in etc), exactly?

Lol! Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. One of her outfits looks just like one of Mara's. They're probably BFFs and and like totally share their clothes and stuff.
Ah, I see. Thank you for an actual answer.Toonimator said:She's a Mara Jade wannabe from the Crimson Empire comics.Maynard said:This sounds like a Cantina patron. Not particularly, compared to dozens of other EU character choices they COULD have gone with (like the Noghri). Hasbro, for some reason, has a real love for Crimson Empire above all other EU Comic sources, so since she was already tooled up (probably from the Nom Anor comic pack that got scrapped), she gets a release.Maynard said:Ah, I see. Is she worthy of a figure at this time, in this line?

First thought was a cantina alien but I looked it up and she is just a plain looking chick. How the hell did Hasbro decide she would be a good figure to make.
Because they were making a Crimson Empire comic pack, when the line got canceled. Presumably, she was in the pack with Nom Anor. Hasbro informed us long ago that Nom Anor would wind up as a basic figure, so if they had the tooling done on him, they probably had it done on his pack-mate... which is how Mirith Sinn gets released. They already invested in the tooling, may as well release it.stylie_steve said:I have been a Star Wars fan since 1982 and I have no idea who this is.

No offense taken here, I'm a big fan of EU but even I didn't know who she was.INDY said:Again - no disrespect to EU guys - but I have been collecting a couple of years and have no idea what this character is. I also have better things to do than pick up an old book to get to know it.
