In the most recent Force Cast Collector Edition (Sept 2011), DePriest mentioned that they have a Nightsister called Mighella sculpted, and she could be released in the vintage line. I'd be happy to welcome any Nightsister, whether it be realistic or animated, but I figured we'd see Mother Talzin first.
 
I wonder if Mighella will be refashioned into Talzin given the similarities in look [not suprising as they come from the same darth maul concept art ;p ]

Personally I'd like both and have wanted a mighella figure since the maul comic she appeared in , did it mention if she was initially sculpted for a comic two pack?
 
DePriest is an idiot, I'll bet you it's actually a TCW figure and he's just mistaken. Happens all the time, I've learned not to listen to that dork.
 
He didnt mention if it was going to originally be in a comic pack, but thats certainly possible. He did say that they'd like to slot it into the vintage line though. They briefly discussed Mother Talzin, agreeing that she'd be a cool figure, but no confirmation or hints were given...
 
Not really that impressed with this choice, samurai sword vs Lightsaber is lame. Maybe if they gave her a lightsaber. I'd rather see Komari Vosa over this character. Vosa is more famous and worthy of a figure besides, especially if your a fan of the EU and the game Bounty Hunter.

I hope we get Mighella as she looked in the comic book. I think that would be a really cool figure to add to my collection. Besides it's something new and unique so what is not to love about the idea? Plus, if she does really well then maybe more Nightsisters will be on the way

If there was ever a female member of KISS....here she is! LOL. I like Mother Talzin's design, but this one? Not so much.

Another "What the hell?" choice from the Comic Pack line... I'm sure they chose her so they could repack an Evo Maul for the other figure and save money. But... man. I'd MUCH rather get Ralrra and the Noghri Warrior than this nobody from a Darth Maul miniseries that is now basically retconned to death (given TCW's Dathomir/Nightsister/Maul revisions)
 
I think the CW Dathomir / Nightsister arc was one of the best yet, which makes me hope that this figure gets released and leads to other Nightsisters as well. I made a custom of Mother Talzin, but I'd love to have an official figure, whether in animated or realistic form...

Yes, all they needed to do was make new gloved forearms.

But, being a cost-cutting pack, he'd either appear with a shirt (1st Evo), or without the shirt and with zero new parts (2nd Evo). They'd just pack the lightning effect from 2005's Mopey Mace Windu.

Ugh. Zayne Carrick doesn't have a sculpt, but some one-off Nightsister from a comic most people probably forgot existed (if they even knew about it), SHE gets sculpted? Blah. Never was happy with how they ran the Comic Pack line...
 
She's not someone you'd like to see at night that's for sure ;) I'd rather some animated version first but if they've already made her then bring her on.
 
Never heard of this character, pass. I have better females figures to get, like Leesub Sirln.

So this is a definite pass for me. I have a lot of figures I'd rather have. Plus the design isn't all that great.
 
I think this character is a great example as to why the comic 2-pack line died. I have never heard of anybody asking for this character, I am myself am pretty in to Star Wars Eu and still have never heard of her, and she is easy to leave out of your collection and not have any real "hole" (meaning she doesn't really "go" anywhere}
 
On a vintage card. Will buy. Odd characters the Nightsisters but if it helps expand the Star Wars Universe past the Cantina I'm all for it...even though I love Tatooine figures the most (Cantina and Jabbas goons)
 
Darn, I was hoping for the Nightsister in red from the E1 concept art. Hopefully that is what he meant because to me she would be in way more demand than Mighella.

Amen! They make crap like this while there are plenty of better EU choices!
 
I wouldn't call her crap, but I do agree there are better choices to be made. However, if you make a Zayne you are sculpting that figure and then who are you putting with him? Chances are you need a second sculpt to be made. Same with Jennir or any other recent comic book characters.
Hasbro is all about cost effective, so repack a Maul means the comic pack would only be sculpting one figure which is what Hasbro wants. But also, look at it this way. Hasbro doesn't like to waste sculpts either, so they can make this figure which gets out and sells. Then they take this sculpt to make other Nightsisters, slowly over time and it's a win win situation. If you are not a fan of this character or don't like it, then simple, don't buy it. I for one would love to have her in my collection.
 
Hasbro, why not a new Red Guard! Stop giving us all this weird PT EU stuff, and give us some OT updates! A certain pass. I never liked the Nightsisters, especially Mother Talzin and all that.
 
Why make this character with so many more prevalent EU characters that should be made? I may get it depending on if it looks OK or not, but I don't see the point in making this specific character.

I agree there, that issue really baffled me as to why they used certain EU characters rather than more mainstream ones.
Hasbro kept releasing stuff we weren't asking for, then blamed us for not buying it?

Not that all of them were bad, I gobbled up a few that were really nice sets, and I'm glad they made them!

There's just some places you can't expect to take shortcuts, and they didn't realize the CP were one of them.
 
Its possible that they knew the Nightsisters would be featured in season 3 of the CW back when this figure / CP was designed and they were anticipating demand. DePriest said he knew fans would like the Nightsisters, its just strange to me that we dont have any in the CW line first. I think the Nightsisters that look like ninjas would appeal to kids, and Mother Talzin would be a more collector focused character - but both types should be released.
 
I like the character and wouldn't mind... as long as they don't gimp the articulation.

Completely agree with you. I would like to hear Hasbro's reasoning for possibly making this picture but I'm through trying to make sense of the decisions they make.
 
I'd like it and have been asking in polls and Q&As, but not for the comic character - that has no appeal. I want the TPM concept art as a figure. Many in the CW section have also been asking for Mother Talzin, who is very similar, but in CW style. So, while it's true to say no one was asking for this specific figure, plenty of folks have wanted something close, but not quite what we might be getting.
