Micro Machines (2015+)

Hey there 🚀 I'm from Germany and new to this forum. I'm collecting Star Wars Micro Machines for years an have an extensive yet incomplete collection.

I need some help. I recently shot the Battle Droid Transforming Set with the first edition box design. As you can see, the "Exploding Reactor Core" is very different from what is in the regular set, as well as the battle droid figure. My set wasn't sealed anymore, and inside is a mint casual reactor core and a casual battle droid. I am wondering if the first edition reactor was just on the packaging. Is it possible, that it exists? Does anyone know about this Set?

I think the box art is incorrect. I have a first edition I bought 20 years ago and it looks like yours with the silver attached reactor cores.

The red ones were probably not allowed by the government for shooting off.

Here's mine first edition I bought forever ago:

It defintely matches yours.

Darth Ray

I found some new SW MicroMachines items in the past months, which are area exclusives.

- the bronze 6-pack in white box was a Japanese mail-away gift set, probably to be ordered in exchange for proofs of purchases of VHS (I can't read Japanese, but the flyer seems aligned with this hypothesis: you could choose either a VHS documentary, MM 6-pack or Kenner 3" 3/4 Princess Leia)
- a single boxed bronze AT-AT which is from Italy
- a single baggy bronze Millennium Falcon which was a gift for people who bought all 3 SW VHS in 1995 (so this is before the Special Edition).

Other weird items I saw were single boxed or single baggies of ships which were available in France as gift or bonuses for purchases of other items. There was notably a series of photo-novels of the movies, and the first issue was accompanied by a single boxed MM (I have proof of existence of AT-ST, Cloud City, Darth Vader's TIE, DSII, Escape Pod, Imperial Probot, Jawa Sandcrawler, Landspeeder, Millennium Falcon, TIE Bomber, TIE Fighter, Rebel Blockade Runner, Snowspeeder, Star Destroyer, X-Wing and Y-Wing).
For the single baggy, I have proof of Escape Pod, Imperial Probot, Jawa Sandcrawler and X-Wing. It's reasonable to assume more were available.

Hey everyone. I came across one of the rarer X-Rays these days. What I didn't knew was that Collection 5, 6 and 7 also came with EU-Packaging from Ideal. I just know them existing in the striped Packaging, so I was slightly suprised, to find this 🙂 Card and blister aren't in best condition, but I think I'll keep it closed. Cheers 🚀
