Hi all

Today's a very special day which has to be marked with a special feature :weeabooface:

I announced a few weeks ago that I would publish an update of my carded sets :weeabooface:, after the Kenner ESB Offerless set last november, and the MECCANO 12-backs characters on squarish 20-backs Guerre des Etoiles cards in march...

The set took about 10 years to assemble, but as you know Meccano 12-backs are incredibly rare and they show up only on rare occasions.

So except one bought on ebay (the Leia), the rest is only LUCK in attic finds, some which I found, some which were proposed directly to me when I wasn't even looking!! some of these cards are resealed, but whose who collect Meccano knows that you can't be picky, each Meccano collector has several resealed, lifted, or opened bubbles in his collection - and unfortunatly it barely affects the price... sometimes even a cardback with a near fully lifted bubble sells for hundreds euros!!

One good though with Meccano 12-backs is that they are most always surfacing from people who were generally too old to play, so they just bought the cards because those were 'cool' and have a nearly full set to sell each time it happens... If you've been following ebay auctions, you'll remember a nearly full set in 2007, another one in 2011, then 2012, and 2014 !! they are also under-the-radar finds, but they are very low numbers
