Thank god happy meal toys are coming back to the star wars universe:

McDonald’s: McDonald’s is inviting families to celebrate Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker with an out-of-this-world Happy Meal experience. Each Happy Meal will include 1 of 16 exclusive, stylized Star Wars collectible characters. Plus, there’s an exciting surprise with each toy: when opened and lit up, each one reveals one of four Star Wars hologram images with a unique connection to that character. Families in the US will have the opportunity to extend the excitement with a sweepstakes opportunity with each Happy Meal!

I’m thinking they’ll probably be similar to the ROTS Burger King ones due to them being stylized.

Yeah, but when has any Happy Meal toy been good since the last time they had real LEGO sets? For me that was 33 years ago last time I had a good Happy Meal experience (food was crap, but the toy was authentic, unique, and fun).

The Episode 2 and 3 Burger King Toys were good, the Episode 1 KFC/Pizza Hut/Taco Bell toys were good, and the 1996 original trilogy special edition Taco Bell toys were good, in my opinion

KFC also had Special Edition toys, they just aren’t as well known:

Could you get those in Canada? Never saw them before
I think they were an Australian/New Zealand exclusive but I could be wrong. I’ve only seen the Taco Bell and all the episode 1 ones here in Canada.

Was hoping for a set like they had for Avengers Endgame. Maybe that was too repetitive, and too much like previous sets?

Started today. Got Rey and Kylo. They also have a Dark Side 3 pack box set that looks really cool of Darth Maul, Vader (different I think then the single) and the Emperor. sells for $4.99

The KFC Special Edition Trilogy set was reserved mostly for areas/countries that Taco Bell restaurants were nonexistent in during 1997. The state of Hawaii for the US also got them on account there were no Taco Bells in Hawaii back in 1997. If I'm not mistaken Europe also got them along with select parts of Canada (mainly the French speaking areas). There was also a Pizza Hut Special Edition Trilogy set of toys in 1997 that was exclusive to Mexico (as Mexico had neither Taco Bell or KFC).
That Dark Side Saga Set isn't available in every state. It can only be found at participating McDonald's in California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia and Wyoming. That tidbit came from McDonald's website for limited time exclusives (mcdfinder.com).

Thanks for the info. I haven’t been to my McDonald’s for quite a while so I’m not sure if any of the SW toys are available here in Canada.
