Yep. It would be nice to find one.

I got back into Hot Wheels earlier this month. Mom was buying me HW in the early 70's before SW came along. I used to buy a couple now and then when my stepson was young in the late 2000s...one for me, one for him. :)

I really like some of the ID cars. Distribution is apparently terrible for them. They're showing up in Dollar Tree stores, just not in my state. (GA)

I need that 2018 Mustang with the Falken livery. Bad.

Found one Saturday at GameStop.

Got mine last weekend at a local diecast show. ($2)

I got some Falken ID Mustangs, recently, as well. My favorite Hot Wheels car of 2020.

And here's all of the ID cars I've gotten so far. I'm not collecting them all. Just the ones I like. I traded the box the blue R35 came in for two ID Boneshakers, lol.

picked up the New Hot Wheels "Premium Line" I guess formally the Retro Entertainment line today at Target. Was able to snag the F-14 Tomcat from Top Gun, Cruella De Ville from 101 Dalmatians and the Land Shark from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. I passed on the James Bond A Time to Die Aston Martin DB6

I've not been able to find one as yet but a friend of mine found one the other say, though only after me telling him about it and to keep an eye out.

found a lonely green Midnight Otto sitting in the parking lot of my local food store and decided to give it a home.

While cleaning around the place sorting out my collection I was able to group together some of my Hot Wheels and Matchbox stuff. Hot Wheels and Matchbox were my favorite toys just before Star Wars hit stores. I don't have any of my childhood cars and today I collect just a few odds 'n ends, mostly the Loopster roller coaster and any food trucks.

I found Mickey's Steamboat the other day so I thought I'd also find the X-Jet, no luck.

I almost never find the "unique" stuff, so it's nice to have someone who's actually into them helping. He's always on the look out where as I'm more passive.

As much as they're reissued the BTTF DeLorean without any current media support surely Ecto-1 should be on their radar. lol

I can't imagine Mattel or even Johnny Lightning cashing in on the success of Afterlife.. it's a no brainer as the fans of movie cars will buy the Ecto-1 as will the fans of the movie. I just hope it's a new sculpt with new details as the car is significantly different in Afterlife with the dirt, grim, rust and of course the upgrades to the gunner seat. I think out of all the 1:64th scale versions that have come out the Johnny Lightning Ecto-1 is probably the most screen accurate in regards to details.

I'm actually waiting on the Hasbro Ecto-1 to go on clearance so that I can pick one up cheap and customize it to look more like the rusted/broken down version of the Ecto as seen in Afterlife. I'm also debating taking one of my beat-up old Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1's and giving it an Afterlife look as well.
