Well, then, here's hoping someone else hasn't snagged it by now. It, Deadpool's ice cream truck and the bullies' Ford Super De Luxe from Back to the Future are always the first to go. I'm fortunate to have nabbed all three (as well as the Doctor Strange Lamborghini Huracán Coupé).

haha I bought that 70's Monte Carlo as well. it was just too sweet to pass up. (probably the only car from that sub collection of Fast and Furious that I liked!)

picked up a 1988 Monte Carlo SS and the 1988 Honda CRX while on lunch today. My target completely restocked the Hot Wheels section

Man, as excited as I am about the upcoming Fast & Furious off road vehicle series, Mattel seems to be dropping the ball. They identify the "G-Class" from Furious 6 as a 1991 model, when the screen-used vehicle was a decade older at least. IMCDb identifies it as a 1979 model. The roll bar in the rear is also too short and it's so missing the lights along the back of the cab. Then there's the Hummer from Furious 7. Mattel says it's an H1 and gives no model year, but (again, according to IMCDb), it's a pre-H1 1997 model, when they were just sold as Hummers without a model name. Hot Wheels' model also only has one fuel filter vs. the movie vehicle's two. It's also missing the roof rack. I suspect the G-Class and Hummer were castings not actually made to represent these movies vehicles but debuted in this line under the basis of "close enough."

And I thought them calling Matchbox's old workhorse the Jeep 4x4 a CJ-7 for the new Jeep series was bad; it's obviously a CJ-5 and always has been, judging by the door frame shape.

I have always leaned more toward the TV and movie cars from the various diecast lines but seeing you guys talk about Jeep's in here and in the matchbox thread I saw these today at the grocery store and immediately thought of these threads.
