Anyone know where to get the new Master Repicas prop blasters from (that are already in Australia)?
Damn customs won't let me bring them through.
Thanks.

Re: MR props

CaseFresh.com is a great stockist of the MR line of products?

I guess customs got you on the blasters....several people
have been caught out by not having the correct paper work
for import...and they waste lots of money to learn this
lesson. And these things are not light so shipping is
quite high.

Re: MR props

I checked with customs on the stormie blaster when it was released and you have to fill out 2 forms both needing authenication from the police, it's because it's made from gun parts that they have issue with it, and if you do get it through be prepared to be hit with gst on it, it's cheaper and easier to get it from casefresh like mouse said.

So anyone collecting props now? What does everyone have?

I've picked up Obi-Wans ROTS lightsaber but I want more, expensive but a neat collectable though.

Yep, only 1000. The ROTJ EE had 750 and sold out in 3 hours. So these will probably go just as fast.

Re: MR Props Thread

In the beginning I had no desire to collect the .45 replicas but after getting the mini mace with the 06CS I was hooked. I find they are very affordable and very cute.
But they still don't have the wow factor of the full scale.

Re: MR Props Thread

I got the EP3, EP4, EP5 Vader and grouped them in a trio display case, then threw in an EP2 Anakin....alas the Anakin saber faces to the left (all the vaders face to the right) so it really doesn't fit the theme

I agree, they are kewl but 1:1 has the AWE-power.

Re: MR Props Thread

Just for the record
I applied to the AFP firearms registry about importing a Boba Blaster from MR. After finding several pics and writing a half page reason to import it i was told "NO" and aparently i was not the first to be knocked back here in A.C.T - never mind thats just the way it is - just thought i'd pre warn ya.
By the way if anyone has been succesful in getting this blaster in and wants to part with it i may be interested

Re: MR Props Thread

Yep I've been looking for one of these for a while.
Problem is because you can't import them anymore they are a pain to find already here.
Some slipped through before the laws changed and the blasters became classed as real firearms (which is complete bull****).

Re: MR Props Thread

hey caveman

went to customs the other day and it looks like they are reviewing the laws which will be australia wide and most likely harder to get items like the jango's which you can import at the moment in the future you might not be able, typical of aus laws with props it is just unfair for the common person that try's to do the right thing.
anyway i got lucky not to long ago and finely got my Mace Windu SE aotc Artist Proof saber

love it, picked it up from the states

Re: MR Props Thread

i actually walked into a toy store the other week and say several very realistic toy guns.
i find it amazing how these can slip through but over the top blasters cannot.
i'd like to meet the fool that suggested these laws. i'm guessing an old fat white guy who never leaves his office.

Re: MR Props Thread

Hey darth
just got a rebel blaster a few weeks ago from the states it came through customs with now problems but i here that they are changing the laws to australia wide in the next few weeks and it looks like we are supposed to register any replicar firearms like reel guns at least nsw has a collectors licence so we can at least keep the ones we have
that realy does take the cake typical government buricrats in their wisdom stick it to the lergit guy

Re: MR Props Thread

I thought this was alway the law. Replica firearms in NSW need a special license and have each one registered.
