According to Stan we might be seeing a Mace Windu figure in the Black Scale 6" line in 2014. No further news is available just yet.


Hasbro has had a bad track record with Mace in the 3" scale so it'll be interesting if they can pull of his likeness the first go around in a larger scale. I'd expect to see a Lightsaber, hilt, cloak and a removable hand for this release *fingers crossed*


Any thoughts and ideas on this potential figure? Would you buy him?
 
I'd gladly buy Mace. Wonder if he'll come with his lightbsaber from TPM, even though he wore a different outfit with it? There's not a whole lot they can pack him with.
 
Here's hoping there won't be an unslightly seam running through his bald bonce :p
 
i hope they include a extra screaming head and removable hand from the ROTS duel
 
Of course he won't scream unless you peel him. Or is that carots? Damn, I'm always getting carots and Mace Windu mixed up. Either way, I don't think he'll scream.
 
On surface level, this seems like a logical pack-out for a case. Mace vs Jango and Lando and who was the last one? IG-88?

But in the past Lando has proven to be retail poison. Many times. Has Hasbro ever released TWO Black characters in one wave? It seems like something that simply isn't done.

Well based on the fact that 6 movies had 2 black characters total, unless you want to count JarJar, Vader or very minor backgrounders, I'm guessing no they haven't. Not sure the relevance though cause most of the pegwarmers have been white characters and Hasbro still makes them.
 
Definite purchase for me, as would be the case for any and all prequel Jedi. At the risk of being flamed, I would be in hog heaven if the 6" line were nothing but PT characters for an entire year.

Sith Lords, Jedi and wookiees, OH MY! :grin:

I'd rather have Lando over Mac, but I'm sure we'll have them both at some point.

I think a can of Colt 45 would make an awesome accessory.

Oops, forgot about Panaka, but Typho doesn't count, he's Samoan. Does R2 count?



And to get back on topic, I want Mace to either come with a chair, or even better have Hasbro make some council scene diorama pieces like they did back in the day.
 
Wasn't there black pilots, commandos, Bespin guards, and random Jedi as well??? Anyway, I'd love to get a Mace figure, and I'm sure they'll throw in a cracked Jango head like they've been doing with recent Mace figures!!!!
 
Mace Windu? Yes please! Can we have Plo Koon, Kit Fisto and Shaak Ti next?

I might be interested in this. Hasbro just needs to release a Jango Fett with that wave!
 
About time we see pictures of him. Good looking figure.
 
Eww. This does not look like Samuel L. Jackson. The face is too soft and smooth, almost effeminate. Look at the mouth, it’s small and his eyes aren’t wide enough or slightly bulging. I have to say even the flared nostrils are lacking and undersized. It’s nice to have in your collection if you don’t have a 6” Windu but the Figuarts version is a better headsculpt and face print.
 
I think it looks pretty great. Not an eww at all.

I actually think it looks better than the Figuarts head.

Wait until we see the actual photo real... The hand painted faces meant to replicate photo real NEVER look nearly as good as what we actually get.

Funny Stan rumored this 5 years ago! He was right a lot of the time back in the 3.75" days but it's hard to think he saw a figure 5 years ahead. Unless he's just been held back for 4 years.
 
Mace, along with Grievous, have been my top two wants of all time so I will definitely be picking him up. Now I just need a Dooku and I will be content. Well a AotC/RotS Yoda and RotS style Palpatine hopefully one day too
