I do not think it will be an all new Luke, but maybe a mostly new one. He will for sure have to come with both sabers. I just hope they give hime the right ones. Also, I want to see how they do her whip.

Isn't there a female pilot coming in Evolutions? I may be swapping the extra Brie head onto that unless it's 'battle damaged'. I don't have the comic handy just now to check her unmasked look.

Let's make that an official "RS Demand" for this figure - NO MARVEL COLORING - the answer they gave on Tobi Dala and Fenn Shysa was unsat - this figure should not be purple and baby blue, so let's hope that we can send a message that while we like the Marvel characters, we'd REALLY rather see them done in a realistic style that blends in with the rest of the line.

Just dug up the comic. The interior art doesn't have any blue. More of a steel gray with "shine" highlights. So hopefully Hasbro will interpret that correctly and not go by the blue on the cover. Her head wrap isn't the cover's deep purple; in the interior, it's somewhere between a gray and a lavender depending on the panel. In one scene they also show her without the head wrap, exposing her helmet with the Vader like mouth area from her first appearance.
Also, to answer my own question, her unmasked head has some light scarring on one side.

Great news.
I've read all the new and old comics to my kids, and my kids (age 5-13) all like the Marvel series best of all. (I think it was the continuity of the whole thing).
Anyway, they are psyched to hear about Lumiya, too.
I hope someday they get around to Rik, Dani, Kiro, etc. and maybe Crimson Jack and the Tagge's, too. And some of those Bunny creatures.

Hasbro's reply to the Marvel colours question was pretty defensive - personally I'm expecting more of the same for Lumiya and Luke. If Luke's shoto is red-bladed, though, it'll be just what I need for my Sith Yoda custom.

I still don't understand why she wasn't redeemed in the stories. I personally strongly believe that this would've been epic.
But instead they stick to old clichés. Bleh.

In Star Wars, yeah! Look at them all: Revan, Anakin, Secret Apprentice, Quinlan Vos, Kyp Durron...Lumiya is more real in that she didn't go over to the Light side...but then again, she wasn't truly evil, based on her actions in LotF.
Luke seems the obvious pairing...I'm hoping for a shoto as well. And none of the removable blade jazz.

I'd have to guess Luke as well in some kind of VTAC Bespin re-do - new arms, gloved hands, perhaps a new facial sculpt - we'll see.

Eh...in my mind, she died in the last Marvel comic. I mean from the first few LOTF books I actually read she was awesome...but the rest of that series is really lame and I'd rather not have such an awesome character involved. The whole Shira Brie to Lumiya arc is one of my favorite EU stories.
If we're getting this set, can comic packs containing Kiro and the Rik Duel gang (and hopefully Plif the Hoojib too) be far behind? Dare I hope for a Jaxxon figure in the distant future?

yeah shame they couldn't have put in a third head for her early Dark Lady appearances.
Still I'm thrilled that one of my childhood favourites is making it into 3 and 3/4 inch figure form thanks Hasbro

Joe makes a point. There's no confirmation that the companion figure with Lumiya is going to be Luke. Considering the source, it could be this Dani, or Kiro... okay, I had to Wookieepedia this lot, as I've never heard of them. I'm thinking that it's going to be Luke.

Luke makes the most sense based on Hasbro's way of doing these sets. They want people unfamiliar with EU to at least get one recognizable figure.

Ok this has been the best news, after the news we were getting Yarna - Its about time they showed some proper love for Marvel Star Wars characters, now I am hoping that Jaxxon wont be far behind her - I know they have said dont hold out hope for Jaxxon in the past, but I wasnt expecting the Millennium Falcon this year either, so who knows they may be getting there act into gear.
I just wish they would stop with the funky [censored] colors.
