Looks like we're getting a new Luminara Unduli figure - after taking a look at the picture below, all the parts appear to be new - no idea about the legs, but everything that is visible is newly sculpted compared to the ROTS Luminara figure...

This looks like an accidental reveal - someone confused Luminara with her Padawan.

I'll buy one. Barriss is lonely.

I'm thinking that's exactly what happened, either that or an "accidentally on purpose" reveal to get the web buzzing!!! Love Jedi figures, so I'll definitely grab her as well!!!

Someone over at YakFace has a comparison photo of previous Luminaras and this one; the head sculpt doesn't appear to much different---possibly no different---since the ROTS version...only the BH elbows and some new sculpting on the torso and cloth over her upper arms appears new: Yakface.com Forums • View topic - Up and coming figures

Hopefully the legs will be articulated too...

Goes to show that these guys dont even know there SW, thats sometimes good for us. She looks awesome. I love the paint job. Passin on alot of the PT figs but want any and every Jedi they produce.

This upgrade looks fantastic! I am already sold. It's amazing how far figures have come since ROTS. Wow, I can't believe that was 7 years ago now.

I certainly don't expect everyone at Hasbro to be able to name every character that never even spoke in the movies.

From what I can see, she's definitely an all-new sculpt. Comparing her to the older figures, the head sculpt is also new.

I keep checking and double-checking the details and I feel more and more like this IS all-new (except possibly her legs(?))....I'm still not all that enamored with this character or figure, just a whole lot of meh...

Okay, that's it from me on the downside of this fig...

It is nice to see new Jedi---period---that aren't the same ol' robed clones of one another. I'm glad they've tackled Aayla, Bariss, and this Luminara and held off on giving us a hundred tan-colored Obi-Wannabes...

Yeah. I can't say Luminara was on my immediate "needs an update" list, as I'd rather see other female Jedi, like Adi Gallia, updated first. Luminara is still a welcome addition, though. Her most recent figure wasn't too bad, just needed updated articulation.

Eurgh, I'm sorry, I can't stand Unduli, Shaak Ti or Aayla Secura after so many resculpts, repacks and kitbashes. Too many imo. I don't want the new Aayla, and I don't want this, easy pass for me.

I honestly can't recall all that many resculpts, repacks and kitbashes of any of those 3 characters...

I brought up the link that Sidious posted and then the one that someone posted from Yakface (sorry for not giving props to whoever you are) and I went back and forth from the SDCC to the Yakface pictures and to me she looks all new. Yes it could be the same legs under the skirt, but waist up is completely new and that skirt and the piece hanging in front look new as well. So I will go out on a limb and say all new figure.

This is exciting for me though, all these Jedi getting upgraded with ultimate editions because I am pretty sure this will be the ultimate Luminara as well.

I'm down for any Jedi resculpys that are not up to SA standards. Neutral pose and a new sculpt? Yes, please! Now, get me propler Ki-Adi, Shaak Ti, Adi Gallia, and Saesee Tiin (the kind that makes it unnecessary to ever make them again, a la Aayla and Barriss).

I have been looking forward to a new Luminara Unduli to go with the superb Barriss Offee we got recently. Hopefully she's of equal or greater likeness as her padawan. Some mentioned a new Ki-Adi-Mundi, I wanted to share my ROTS Ki-Adi that I modified.

I trimmed his bulky robe drastically and think it looks much more accurate.

Looks awesome but those arms need replacing imo.

I was happy with the last release but if ball joints are the only thing new about her then it's a slight upgrade and possibly worth buying.

So they tackled her robe in an interesting way. Sculpted sleeves with the rest of the robe attached near her shoulders. Could be how they eventually do someone like Palpatine with softgoods.

Want to see a few more pics, but looks good.

If you do a comparison to the old versions, she is pretty much all new. Aside from maybe the legs

New Luminara looks awesome! Second most-anticipated figure of the wave, after Pablo-Jill! Now give us a proper Shaak Ti update and I can safely say I'm done with Geonosis Jedi. Any of the boring humans from here on out will probably be passes.

There's still a few Geonosis Jedi I want. Que-Mars Redath-Gon is another Weequay, and Joopi She is a green Nikto. I'm also still holding out for redo of the other two Jedi from that 3-pack from back in 2002.

Most of the ROTS era Jedi were fine as released in 2005 I think as cut joints and ankle articulation aren't deal breakers for me.
A "boring" human Jedi would be preferable to a fifth version of Luminara.
And why does she need a removable hat?

A little perplexed at the amount of poopy-poopy on Luminara I'm seeing here. She's one of the most striking and interesting looking characters in all SW!

The timing on this is perfect for the awesome Bariss upgrade, and the new sculpt and extra robe look fantastic. In fact, the sculpt is a much better likeness to the actress, so big props to Hasbro there. The removable headdress is a cool idea too

can't tell if she's on screen accurate on that figure, i see she had new set of arms and a soft good cloak. ROTS figure sculpt should be ok for now unless if i hear any complains or not.

I can understand that. I wanted this one but was prepared to wait until THIS GUY got a very needed redo:

Well pleased they are redoing this character - my ROTS Luminara looks a bit sad next to Barriss, new Aayla, and the updated Shaak Ti. If the headgear is removable that's a major bonus as well, since it was almost impossible to turn the ROTS Luminara head because of the rigid parts. Didn't think there was much to get excited about at SDCC until they revealed these extra figures :)

The only thing i don't like about this figure is the giraffe neck syndrome that her padawan has as well. It looks really bad on Luminara though because theres no hood covering it up.

She seems decent, but just not a figure I'm willing to spend on...probably passing.

Nice update - will get one to open and one for the wall as always of course ...

I am surprised the Headdress is removable. I wonder what made them decide to do that.
What is her hair going to look like underneath?

Probably just trying to give more bang for you buck, she'll probably have no hair just like Barriss.

it would be nice if they gave her a plastic robe besides or instead of soft good while she's got new arms. a removable hat is ok.
