Yeah, he HAS to fit in a (new??) Landspeeder.its the bottom skirt piece for the new figure that's the main concern if its going to be a newer more flexible plastic part in order for the legs to be easier to move to have Luke sitting down etc.
Articulation and being able to do a bunch of poses will be essential. Resurgence of the Force Luke is my current Farmboy one, but it needs help staying upright (along with other issues).
It’s Luke, so they better nail the face likeness down correctly.
. . . And it’d be nice if they added the poncho, rifle, floppy hat, a power converter, blast shield down helmet, swappable Stormtrooper belt, Stormtrooper rifle, and moisture vaporator to the figure!
I just found the Saga one, with the parka, hat and the lightsaber chest from Obi Wans house. I would buy a deluxe version if it had a bunch of pack ins like that, maybe a swappable stormtrooper belt.Ahh, the days when we got the vaporator for free!
I'm kind of excited to see the heroes revisited. Luke deserves a sculpt that fits in with today's figures.
Ha, yes. I never bought those figures. It was VOTC that brought me back into collecting.Remember the POTF2 era where Tatooine Luke was always around on the shelves? Honestly it’ll be nice to see a Tatooine Luke again because it feels like it’s been forever.
Does ponda have a new head in that photo?
Looks like it might be headswap with the POTF2 Ponda. Something a lot of us did.Does ponda have a new head in that photo?
I think I'm ok with a regular torso. Last time we asked for more articulation we got Dagobah Luke.SH Figuarts figured out how to do Luke farmboy 5-7 years ago. This figure NEEDS good butterfly joints or it just won't be good enough.
Maybe Hasbro could even apply the soft plastic overlay system to the forearm sleeves, it could work I think.
I don't think they can achieve something like that in 3.75" yet. Maybe in a few years.Wouldn't this work scaled down to 3.75? Hasbro more or less has this articulation standard now. I don't think it breaks up the aesthetics at all.View attachment 496853
We don’t talk about that….. monster.I think I'm ok with a regular torso. Last time we asked for more articulation we got Dagobah Luke.
Agreed. I just don't like the aesthetics of that figure. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to them trying it on a character I have no use for just to see if it could work. Because I do feel it would improve double handed Saber stances.I don't think they can achieve something like that in 3.75" yet. Maybe in a few years.Wouldn't this work scaled down to 3.75?
