Still waiting for my Snowspeeder Luke and Hoth Trooper the way. Cmon Dorkside!!!! I love you guys but why has everyone else has these figs for months now. That said I ordered all my new Rebels, Kamino Clone, Mando stormtrooper, and an Ewok, ALL from you guys. (As well as having Plo Koon, Kit Fistu, and Commander Bly all preorder from you. You’re the best! But please help Luke and his Trooper find their way to me. Thanks!

To my surprise I found the repacked version in the new phase IV packaging Of snowspeeder Luke before I found the 40th anniversary version.

Will go great with the snowspeeder I recently got from amazon.

I was on the fence about picking this figure up when he was announced, but after seeing the new packaging, the illustration sold me. Plus it's a Luke figure, so I'd probably regret passing on him.

I already got this figure... 4 times in the 40th packaging lol so I'll be passing. I got one for my shelf, one to go in the speeder, and 2 for a Wedge and Luke Dagobah Landing customs. Cue in the skit from SNL.

I do like the new packaging though.

For the Luke in the blue packaging, is there a variation? I just saw him at a Target packaged with his helmet on, but I’ve seen packaged shots online where the helmet is to the side (like in the first post). Or is the helmet off version just a rendering?

Hopefully I'll be able to snag a second one of these at some point to do a Dagobah landing figure. Given that he's i the 40th line and boxed, will mean that there's enough around that we might see some reductions down the line.

Do you know if the Wedge head is easily compatible, or do you need to do a lot of modifying?

There's a bit of modifying to do, its not a straight swap. You have to widen the neck socket a bit and also drill a bit deeper inside so its not sitting so high on the neck post.

Yep - can confirm this variation also - as I found one on shelves at Toyworld Wellington (NZ). Was about to ask the same question, as his helm is on his head.

Personally, I actually prefer the helmet on variation.

The helmet off version looks to only be from the pre-production promotional images. Every in-hand image I've seen has been with the helmet on. The four I saw in person yesterday were also all with the helmet on.
