Again, never liked the notion of using Anakin's lightsaber. Fine, Rey accepts it from Maz Kanata. Still don't know how it was retrieved from Bespin. That should have been it. Keep in mind that it is part of a Jedi's rite of passage to find their own Kyber crystal and build their lightsaber. Remember the deleted Luke Skywalker scene from ROTJ.

Luke should have "battled" Kylo Ren with HIS own green lightsaber in TLJ.

I think the figures would be cool and quite literally, other than the opening scenes going to Exegol, the flashback of Luke and Leia training was the best part of the entire movie. It technically would count as just after the OT - I assumed they were on Endor and stayed longer to begin Leia's training, but I suppose it could be another planet. I guess it's never stated - the figures would be a cool design though.
