Can't complain about the Boushh pack in as I don't have the original figure and IG Luke looks great. Annoying for those that just want the single figure though

there's about 50 of them at my nearby Ollies for $9.99. Only $7.49 on a recent sale. I wish they would gave us 2- all new SOTE figures. Until then Mogwai will be waiting for a half off or more sale price.
 
I don't know if I'm more excited about this set because it's from Shadows of the Empire or because I also think of this Luke as a POTF2 figure.

Guess that’s the point of it, stock they’re unable to move. Either that or the latest iteration of Hasbro’s “something old, something new, something borrowed…” policy.

Of course that is irrelevant, if you don't live near one ...

Anyway, Mike_Sidious' post made me realize there's going to be way more people buying this for the Imperial Guard and looking to off load Boushh, so picking her up off ebay shouldn't be too hard.

Yeah, I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to rip open Archive figures and repackage them in this new set with the new head. Yes, that's a lot of work. But wouldn't it be cheaper to do that than produce new figures if Hasbro already has that many of the Archive figure stockpiled?
 
Leia's hair does look better but you can probably pick up a Boushh at Ollie's.
 
Instant pickup, but with Leia included, it will prevent me from double dipping.

Is it me or does Luke's face look kinda chunky?

Yeah, I don't like altered images either. If the figure's legs have pinholes, show an image of that. And I agree about Luke @Oofa and @djcos25. His head is chunky to me. I'm not sure if he's been eating cornbread or if he's been pounding the Creatine shakes and using his Bowflex. Leia looks normal build-wise though, she is fairly small.

While the Crimson Guard has always been one of my favorite designs, this figure feels shortchanged by the reuse of the Clone torso and feet. But given all the newness here they likely had some cost factors that needed met.
That said, it does look pretty cool aside from Luke having no neck.

It does sorta look like that Luke's head, but like someone heated it up and then ran it over with a truck before letting it cool. Makes me wonder how the helmet actually makes it over that giant head.
 
Wish they had just put Luke out by himself. Had the Leia since the first release and if Ollies ever burns down, it will be from all the Boushhs rotting there. I'm fine with the first one and don't feel the need to get another. Maybe they should have packed Luke with Guri or someone new.

i was tempted on this but i rather have 2x the tvc htte pks now and get this 1 later...maybe if still orderable if they get another excl andi "need" something forfree shipping, it's not like i did not want this completely..lol
 
The original guard Luke is one of my favorites, so I’m really wanting this. I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger for $45-$50. I don’t care much for the Boussh either as I usually try to stick to TVC.

Yeah seeing him brings back memories. I’m going to call it that Luke will also be released on a Black Series SOTE card, similar to what they’ve done with other anniversary figures the last few years.

That's fine by me. I get this set and if he comes out as a single, then I have two of the Imperial Guards without having to have two Boushh.
 
I'm not sure if Boushh Leia was the right call here, I realize it's cheap to repack this but that figure went to bargain bin pricing meaning there's zero demand for it at this price point. If they had found something else to put in with Luke, I feel it probably would have had more appeal. Being that it's been ages since I've even read the material, I can't really come up with an alternative off the top of my head that's reuse. Definitely couldn't have been Xizor, too much new. And I feel having both be Crimson Guard figures would seem stale, even if having a troop building aspect built in.
