Hi All,
I have a Life Sized Ashoka Tano Animated Statue that was produced by Gentle Giant. This statue was never brought to full production, so only a handful of samples were made. I've had this statue for about 7 years, and the the figure is actually in really great shape. Its a fiberglass / resin build with a lot of weight and very few blemishes on it (photos below). with some minor scuffs on the black stands that each of her feet are tethered to.
The statue is set up for an electronic blade, but it does not have one. it did not have one when I acquired it, but both the saber hilt and the tethered base on the figures foot, have a DC barrel jack to accept an electronic blade / plug into a wall. The blade that is mounted to the hilt is a polycarbonate housing with a green blade core (appears to be similar to a force FX lightsaber)
Because these were never put into mass production, these statues don't really break down. The blade is removable from the saber, and one of the foot stand plates can be removed. Its relatively transportable, especially by car, but I couldn't imagine what putting together a shipping crate for this would look like. Hoping to avoid shipping, but willing to if the buyer ranges for it.
I am currently consolidating our home for an upcoming move, so I don't really have a place for this in my new office. Would love to find a new home for it with someone that has been actively looking for one of these.
Price is $950 OBO
LOCATED IN PROVIDENCE RI, CAN MEET WITH IN A REASONABLE DISTANCE.
