LEGO Limelighting & Display Thread

Limelighting & Display section dedicated to LEGO! The vintage section has one & it's pretty awesome. I would love to see what the peeps on here have. Thoughts?

Re: LEGO Limelighting & Display Thread

Thanks Chris! Much appreciated. Well, I guess I will start this off, be forewarned I am new to the world of LEGO, so my collection is small, but growing! Sold off a bunch of comics & UFC cards to fund my new hobby! Off to take pictures...

Great idea, surprised this hasn't started before.

And a great first limelight to kick it off.

I'll muster up some photos of mine.

Re: LEGO Limelighting & Display Thread

Thanks for the kind words fellas! The Death Star was a lot of fun to build. Only thing that sucked was it was missing pieces? Nothing big & only 2 parts, but still, instead of the pile of extra parts, give me what is needed! I have more Stormtroopers on the way to help fill the Death Star, so I will update that when they arrive. Ok, who is next to share?

The Death Star took about 40 hours to build! This doesn't include the hour of opening it all!

I love the slave leia dancing in the officers club of the death star. And also, Vaders reconstruction, that was pretty in genious additions. ALso the chrome stormie in the DS swing scene with Leia and Luke. Details are not lost on me and I appreciate them. Well done.

I should take a new photo, but this shelf is much more packed now...

This was about 8 months ago, so many more things bought since then

Your collection is so extensive and jaw dropping you need to show it off.

Wow, awesome! I don't know if I could ever have enough self control to keep those babies sealed. Especially the Death Star, that's just begging to be built and displayed.

Re: LEGO Limelighting & Display Thread

Our "small" collection! Not too bad, considering we have only been collecting since Sept 14th!

Man, the family has a TON of building to do! The sets in the boxes, are NOT built, they are still sealed! (I forgot to add sealed my Tie Defender to the picture)
