I tried to pre-order the new wave of SW figures from hts.com but concept anakin and the jedi are sold out already.
I really not that excited about those two figures but I do want to build HK-47, then again I sold all my KOTOR figures so I'm still undecided.

I plan on getting concept Anakin, Jango, Obi-Wan, Blue arc and Capt. Typho, and keep them carded. I'll also get at least one complete set just for the HK droid. This is probably the only wave that i'll buy figures that I don't want, just to complete the droid.

When this wave starts showing up and if anyone in the area has extra HK pieces they want to sell off, please let me know.

*** Uses Jedi mind trick *** You're so undecided, you don't really want to build the HK droid...too much work and extra credits for such a unnecessary object. Instead, sell your unwanted parts to Jedi_merc who will handsomely reward you for your kindness.

Well wave 7 is back in stock so I pre-ordered all 6 and I may sell off HK-47, but I'm no pushover like that Ithorian Yuka Laka on Tatooine from KOTOR. LOL
I'll just have to try and pick up the Blue ARC, Hoth Trooper variant, and Clone Trooper Pilot at retail since they are not technicall part of the new wave and not available on HTS.com right now. I already have AOTC Anakin and Jango from the Evo sets and I have an extra Anakin loose if anyone is interested. hint hint.

I just want the HK...But I might get the figs and sell off the charaters, will see. I was going to order from HTS, but their sold-out on Hoth Rebel troopers, so forget it.

Re: Area Report

My Sideshow Utapau 12" Clone Trooper came in today, very excited about this figure, but I haven't opened it, my little was sick for the last 5 days, so I havent had a chance...But she's better today, so I might take some pics and post them later today...

Also, MOTU Mer-man got here and I finally picked up a GI Joe Tiger Rat, before they are all sold out...

I'm just glad that wave 7 is the last of the B.A.D. and ugly cards even though I'm not a MOC collector, those old cards just made things easy for swappers and theives to steal B.A.D. parts.

I want to get it. Just have to persuade the wife to buy it. She loves punch out and the wii, so I think this is a no brainer, plus you can use the wii fit board with it too.

- Sub-Mariner (Black Trunks)
- Silver Centurion Iron Man - This is NOT Silver Centurion IM, this is a lazy re-paint by Hasbro. For $9 freakin dollars they can give us a real SC IM...F---n' a**holes.

Terminator Salvation

Well I want to thank Echo, for hooking me up with the Target exclusive Saarlac Pit set for $15...Also, big thanks for going with me to see Terminator Salvation..

I liked it alot I would give it a solid B+/B, the CGI is AWESOME (especially ARNOLD)...I thought the story line was good but it leaves you with a sequel feeling, however, it does start off a little slow...But all said, its worth the money, well IMO.

No Merc, its an edition size of 2800...The cost I beleive is $60.

Whew! Sorry, brainfart.
Seriously though, when you guys head out there, and if there is a possibility of any of you scoring an extra one of both or either of the Fetts, please let me know. I'll gladly pay you in advance.

Re: 7-11 Transformer cups and straws

Just passing on, 7-11 now has the Transformer holographic cups and figure straws. There is Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblbee and I think Ravage? I picked them all up at the one on Rainbow/Cheyanne.

Your always welcome, you know I always look out for my boys and it's always nice to get out of the house.

Terminator was good but didn't blow me away. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I probably could've held back until it came out on video.

Miguel, this is definitely NOT Toy Story or The Incredibles. Up has some really, really funny moments, but the underlying storyline is sad, despite the relatively upbeat ending. Your daughter might not cry, but your wife might.
They give you 3D glasses, which is kind of a waste given that the 3D is really only obvious in the opening credits, and it darkens the room so much that sometimes you can't see what's going on.

But those really really funny moments I would almost say are worth paying for. You'll never look at your dog's communication skills the same way.

Pleasant crowd at the Palms, same old people up front who were camped out for Star Trek, but we weren't very far back in line, and with 26 people that was a good thing, since we nneded a whole row and then some.

I'll post here when we get more advance screening tickets.

Re: UP!

Well back from some much needed time off. Spent some time back in Houston and than to Florida to spend time with family. Managed to take in 3 very soaking wet days at Disney Star Wars weekends, but glad we went. The rain kept things cool and the lines short, but we were pretty drenched.

In true Star Wars fashion we stood in a 2+ hour line to get the exclusives which were ok, but since we got to the park early the 2 hours was probably much less than most will spend in line. By the time we got out of line the line was crazy long. Got the coin set and 5 or 6 shirts, the watch, and all the pins. The pins are really fancy and large they even have a Grevious pin for $50. All the shirts really have some funny stuff but by far the best is Yoda with some Mickey ears standing in front of one of the line height sticks. Pretty good stuff. I will say after Comic Con and Celebration - Disney weekends leaves alot to be desired, but we went more for Disney since my wife has never been.

If anyone is into Disney pins - they have crazy amounts of pins now. Worse than any Hasbro or Matchbox collections I think.... they pump these out and make them limited or 1st releases and people just swarm to get them. I like them, but they are just pins... I saw one for Flag Day, St. Patricks and all kinds of stuff... I thought... glad I never got hooked on these. I bought the Star Wars ones and some others that were different, but stopped.

They had a bunch for the "Up!" movie, but I passed on them.

Sounds like you guys had a great time...Damn, I hate that any place to get 'hot' Star Wars items, create 2 hour long lines...Also, I never got into the Disney items...However, I would love to get a couple of those Gentle Giant Disney Statues & even those Disney Star Tours figs...

One day I would love to go to Disney World. Again, congrats on your vacation...
