The Luke w/ Landspeeder has been shown:

Looks a little.... small.

Also this is a missed chance to give us a better Luke with a sculpted tunic.

To me, it looks a little small. Imagining Obi-Wan in the passenger seat, I think it would look a little cozy.

A bit small, but still cool. I'm more interested in a small landspeeder than a properly scaled Rey speeder.
This is a great opportunity (missed?) for them to get the farmboy face right.

As much as I love the Landspeeder, can't help but feel a little underwhelmed with this. Maybe it's because the scale is off. Plus there's no way Obi-Wan will fit in with that hard plastic lower robe!

Yeah, but a sculpted tunic probably wouldn't allow him to sit in the speeder as well as soft goods. At least we get a new head sculpt though.

In scale, it should be almost exactly 12" long. Luke is a little less than 6" tall, if you try to imagine laying the figure down next to the Speeder, it definitely looks short. Possibly as much as 15% smaller than it should be.

All this means is that the official published specs are wrong. Those photos of the actual prop look pretty close to me.

No edit but wanted to add some more shots...

Note in the last shot the Landspeeder is basically touching the ground, maybe a foot or so off. The top back pod barely reaches the level of the Stormtrooper 's belt. The windshield is pretty much even with Luke and Ben's noses and they're visibly slouched down pretty far. In riding shots where Luke is sitting up straight next to 3PO the windshield is at the level of their chins. The TBS6 version might be slightly small but only barely.

According to Lucasfilm, it should be "exactly" 11.1549 feet, not 12: http://www.starwars.com/databank/x-34-landspeeder

It looks pretty close to me. Maybe someone at Celebration can measure it.

These are great, thanks for the photos! I think it looks awesome. I agree that it'll be just right if you just shove Luke a little farther inside the Speeder.

Is that measured to the back of the cassis, though, or the back of the rocket booster things? The top rocket thruster is angled backward and increases to total length by several feet.

The thruster pods look about 2.5 -3 ft long. If that 11ft number includes them, then the body of the speeder would be about 8-9' long. That's definitely not 2 Luke lengths. I think the scale is right.

The pictures you found certainly make the scale appear closer - and honestly some of it is likely perception based on the old 3.75" scale toy. But I definitely think Hasbro cut out some length between the back of the seat and the middle engine.

Yeah comparing the TVC Landspeeder with this photos makes it obvious that the old 3.75" versions are actually way too big, IMO.

If you look closely, it kind of looks like we might finally get the space behind the seats for 3-P0's legs! It's a shame that Obi-Wan won't be able to ride shotgun though. May have to pick up a second one and cut that darned skirt piece off.

It would be awesome if the chairs are adjustable. If you look at shots in Mos Eisley it looks like they leaned the passenger seat forward to get 3POs legs back there.

Oh by the way, that means the distance between the top engine base and the seat should be the distance between 3PO 's butt and knee. Which looks about right.

I'm starting to become weary of the whole crew fitting in this...

Looks amazing though. Glad to have an OT vehicle finally and have an ANH large item.

At least he looks better then the single release Luke

Yeah, I keep passing on single release because I can't stand his soft goods and the head sculpt looks awful compared to previous Lukes. But even though this is still soft goods I will definitely need to get it for the other improvements. I've always been a sucker for the floppy hat ;)

The big blown up box art for this (I think?) shown at Celebration Hasbro booth pics on JTA show Luke wearing the floppy hat and poncho. Here's hoping the poncho comes with this too, since it was part of the deleted scenes and still appeared in a couple shots of the movie (plus it'll cover up his awful soft goods shirt!).

Love the new Luke face sculpt, the Landspeeder looks good, it's not a large vehicle to begin with.

I'm not sure who he looks like, but I don't get much of a Mark Hamill vibe. Mind you, I can say the same thing about almost every Luke Skywalker action figure ever released in history, so this isn't a complaint. I think ANH-era Mark Hamill has a tough face to capture well for some reason.

It almost looks like the hair is a separate piece in this shot. Maybe it swaps out for the hat? Anyway, I dig this head sculpt a lot more than the single carded release. His hair isn't yellow and he doesn't have the derpy eyes that seem to plague everyone of those I've seen (including the 40th anniversary version)
