Look at that swagger! The head sculpt needs to be aged down a bit, if that makes sense, but overall very nice piece!

Nice to see Lando in Cloud City turned into a 1/6 scale statue, a character not too often produced. I do agree with rnbuda the face needs a little rework done. May be a little pernickety on my part, but I'm seeing his upper lip being too thick, the hairline being more of a widow's peak rather than a straight-lined one as the actor had, the eyes needing to be bigger, the chin being too square and the jaw a tad long. That said, I'm glad they are revisiting this character.

The description does not mention it to be an exclusive, so apparently I guess, at some point BBTS will have the statue up for preorder.

I wonder if "manufacturing issues" means the QC was bad and GG actually checked the work being done at the factory this time or there wasn't enough demand and they couldn't sell 1,500 pieces like they planned on.

Compared to what has made it through the entire process, can anyone imagine how badly this must have turned out to warrant cancellation in DST's eyes?

What the heck is going on over there? I've never seen a company with so many issues, from product problems to delays and now cancellations as DST/GG. They probably had Lando looking like Carl Weathers and as short as Warwick Davis but then again, I don't think DST would have cared about it considering what an awful likeness some of their pieces in recent years have had.

if the Labria and the PGM Obi-Wan debacles are anything to go by—and as much as i was hoping to finally score a good Lando—this would appear to be a blessing.

Looks like this piece is back! I know Paul Harding was pushing for this and the Palpatine statue to be re-issued.

Looks like ES 500 (rather than the 1500) and GG Web Exclusive and now comes with a plastic cape 😉
Actually looks like there are two versions. The web exclusive edition of 500 has replaceable hands. The other regular 1500 edition doesn’t have the optional hands.

Just checked GG’s website and you are correct - there’s two versions though not sure there’s a great demand for 2000 of these? I’ll probably wait and pick up the regular version when I see it and skip the international shipping and customs charges.

Where are you seeing this on their website? I do not see anything about the Lando statue?

I'm not sure why his cape lining is so gold. It should be gold/red accents on a dark green (unless my eyes are playing tricks on me). Note they got it correct on the mini bust from years ago...
