\"Krieg der Sterne\" 12 back and German EB display

I knew this archive entry for ages and tried to gather informations about the flyer and this "Krieg der Sterne" Stormtrooper MOC (front row, right !) and German Early Bird Display.

It seems impossible to get any informations, if the items ever turned up or what happened to those pre production samples.

Interesting indeed are some character name translations.

Tusken Raiders = Tusken Bandits
Stormtrooper = Soldier
Death Star Commander = Death Squadron Commander

Maybe someone who has more in depth informations can chime in.

I think you can be pretty certain that the Stormtrooper is on a mocked-up card. I've never heard of it turning up, but stranger things have happened. They must have thought about releasing figures with that logo at some early point in development.

The display stand is surely similarly mocked-up.

As for the different names, that's probably due to some weird translating by whoever designed that flyer.

How come no one has mentioned that weird C-3PO?

In my opinion every item on this 2 pages are Mock Up or Prototype stuff.

If you take a look at the German Produced Display shown in the SWCA. It look different to the Display from the add. Also the Early Bird Display and those colouring Posters are never released in Germany.
I really would love to see if any of those fantastic German items have survived especially those incredible German Stormtrooper Mock Up...

I wish I could find a produced display one day...

I knew those items were all pre prod. samples and mock ups.

I was more looking for informations, like ...

why did these german 12 backs were never released ?

Was this german line developed by Kenner US or Parker Spiele/ General Mills Inc. ?

Who painted the 3PO in the group photo of the display yellow ?

The Tusken seems to have a dark cape.

It´s interesting to see that there was already an item Nr. available (Nr. 3931630) to order the 12 back display.

A few Tusken Raider first shots have turned up with the same cape in the display. Same with the Jawa as well. Hopefully, one turns up..
