Nice figure, and probably (but sharper eyes will confirm) a clever reuse of the Bo-Katan figure.

Already pre-ordered one with her wave-buddies to get the full cast of The Mandalorian.

The only thing that really annoys me about this and Bo is the tiny helmets, they should have been slightly larger to make it look like there's ahead underneath. Heck Bo's head is the exact same size if not large than the helmet so I can't imagine what Koska will look like with Elf ears sticking out.

The second bother is for Koska having the wrong boots but I can always fix that.

As others have pointed out elsewhere, the most egregious part of this re-use of Bo-Katan's sculpt are the boots. Koska has no armor below the knee, but rather plain brown boots. At the very least Hasbro shouldn't paint the armor blue, and instead keep it cast in brown plastic.

Yeah I completely agree! I actually think the whole sculpt it’s slightly undersized compared to how tall they’d be in real life. They almost seem a bit child like. I think the both struggle from long gorilla arms as well. But it’s still a great sculpt. Just which they were a lil taller. Wonder if there’s a way to drill out the helmet and stretch it bigger or something?

Yeah I noticed this. Wouldn’t have hurt to sculpt some new legs.

Etain, are you also thinking Jesse is possiblly #188 as well? Cool list BTW.

Yup! It's really only for a lack of any better place to stick him. Not to mention I abhor blank spots in my VC list. 😏

I also had the thought that wouldn't it be like Hasbro to make both Bespin Guards the same VC# even though they have different names. In that case it would open up a slot for Jesse with the rest of Wave 11.

Would it have been better to just paint her shin armor brown? I'm not too concerned about it, but it would have been simple enough

Hmm. I think the face actually looks nicer in-hand then it did in the promotional photos. Same with a few other recent figures.

(EDIT: Judging from photos here, of course I haven’t received the figure yet.)

I'll give credit where credit is due.......Hasbro has been doing a good job overall with head/face sculpts over the past few years. Sure I've seen examples of wonky eyes or misapplied face painting, but generally, the noggins of humans and aliens look pretty damn good to me. Mythrol, Kuiil, Bo Katan.................. they looked good in photos before I got them and they look even better in hand. Even the accessories of Mythrol for example are done pretty well. When I look closely at fifteen year old figures, the sculpts are often there, but the faces aren't done nearly as well as figures now.

if anyone is interested in getting their hands on the Koska figure, you can order from Star Action figures thats from the UK. the prices are UK pounds or whatever though. a 15 pounds UK is pretty much 41 U.S. dollars

so its up to you if you want to spend that much for a star wars action figure to get one from the UK

If you watch Target, all of the sold out preorders become available at various times as credit card re-authorizations fail and someones preorder gets cancelled. I've found all of them available many times just randomly checking a few times a day. Same would apply for Walmart.
