Kanan Jarrus - REB04

Please use this thread to discuss the newly packaged Kanan Jarrus figure. This figure was released previously in the Black Series line red packaging but will be seeing a return in the new 2020 packaging.

Anyone picking up this release?

Im gonna pick this one up too. Updated face, even though he looks like that cult leader from Tiger King, Doc Antle.

I got the new "updated face" Kanan from Amazon yesterday. The changes are subtle as you can see in this pic - old Kanan on left, new Kanan on right - but I like it a heck of a lot better. Less "cartoony". The new Sabine face looks great too. According to Amazon, Hera should be shipping by the end of the month as well. I didn't purchase the new Ezra because somebody mentioned the new face printing tech had already come into play by the time the first one was manufactured. Is this true? Do the faces of both the new Ezra and old Ezra look the same?

I’ve been waiting to see a side by side comparison like this and it only confirms that the new Kanan is a necessity. Still waiting to see if Hera is a similar upgrade or not. And yes you’ve heard correctly, there’s no actual upgrade to Ezra because he already got the photoreal treatment.

Yeah, that makes me very happy that I splurged and included Kanan in my preorder. That new face looks immensely improved.

I honestly don't see what other people are seeing, definitely don't see enough difference to re-buy it.

Yes, I realize, Sabine has her helmet on. She's really the only one I would consider upgrading, but I really don't plan on displaying her without the helmet so...

I think the upgrades are substantial enough. More than enough for people that couldn't grab Hera and Sabine the first time around. If they added a butterfly joint to Kanan, I would have preordered him instantly. I still might pick this one up and buy a custom masked head for the one I currently have.

I didn’t initially preorder him because I didn’t think there were enough changes to warrant a purchase. But I changed my mind and added him to my Dorkside preorder. Seeing these pics I’m glad I did. Face looks much better. It’s all about the eyes they make or break it
