Just got my set, nice to have a magnaguard who has managed to elude me all this time. Really great line up starting to form for Cal to face off against.

Broke down and just pre-ordered it. It's probably better to buy it and then sell off the other two than to try getting Biker Scout on it's own.
Up here in Canada, with my Gamestop discount, comes to about $50 USD for the set.

I briefly entertained the idea of ordering a few from SAF in the UK but decided against as you can only order 2 of them per shipment due to the size/weight and with shipping at ~$35 per box, it didn't make sense to add almost $18 to the cost of each set just to get these a bit early. I will just leave my EE preorder in place and get them later in the year.
Just got my shipping notice from Gamestop. Comes to about $50 US so same as what it is in the US. I'm only keeping the Biker Scout though.
Cheaper this way than trying to get the Scout on his own.

Was thinking about this one for the same reason, as well as wanting the K2 droid. Magnaguards are a hard pass.
Got a notice from BBTS that this should be dropping in my PoL soon.

I'm not keeping the MagnaGuard so I didn't open it. However, here are some loose pics of the other two with comparisons.
Riot Scout Trooper - the only difference in the paint I see is that the new one has darker red paint on the harness.
The shield has a clip and handle for him to hold
For the KX Security Droid, it's just a repaint of K2-SO with the backpack glued on. It's not removable.
As you can see, the antena on the mold is still there and they just put a cut out in backpack to accomodate it.

I'm glad they fixed the Scout trooper's visor! I kept skipping the regular one because of that.
Also, this set is a great way to get a Magna guard for a bargain... based on Aftermarket prices for just the original version.

I am about to cancel my EE order and grab it from BBTS as I have stuff in my loot pile I need to get sent to me anyhow.

Yep. Just in the past 3 hours actually as I checked my pending orders at 5AM when I got up and it was still on preorder/backorder.
Let's get those R2-SHW's unboxed and out as well now!

Does it seem odd that EE has this set listed in stock just hours after starting to fill preorders?
Well, if it is in stock, EE should be sending my set out soon!!!
EE is starting to piss me off w/ this order. Both items on my order had non mint options, so why can't EE have a set up on order form to check a box if you are willing to accept non mint. And let fullfillment be by order number. My 3pk has been processing since Thursday. And payment cleared the bank Monday AM. Oh and Ee sent this email highlighting r2. I guess the jumped over launch day orders to cater to reseller accts. Needless to say, my r2 still has not started to process.at this point, it'll be after halloween when i recieve it and maybe the 3pk too.

I know. R2..eta Feb, but a sold out non mint few? A friend of mine actually contacted them and supposedly they dud get a small amt of r2s in and are awaiting a restock. Still, it'd been nice to have a check box on your order indication you'd accept a discounted non mint. Sure,not all those checked would get filled, but it'd cut down on customer dissatisfaction. And to top it off, the shipping method/s use is/are SLOW.

EE supplies their bulk buyers/resellers first - this is why you are seeing them in numbers on Ebay yet they haven't fulfilled any individual customer orders.
So if someone new just went in and bought this set right now that says available, will EE ship that before my pre-order?
Hopefully not. If an order is already in the ''processing" stage, then it should go out 1st over a spanking brand new order that would need to enter the processing stage that can take several days. But once shipped, who gets thiers 1st depends on the carrier and location.
I think that it very well could. Because it's a "new order" and they'll want to fulfill it, preorders whether we like it or not have a "processing time" and they can ship whenever "supplies allow". You never really know due to all the logistics involved.
So in that case, what's the flippin' point of "preordering" then?
Yeah, What are these logistics? It should be First in First out.
I didn't know that there was, being as it ends up at retail options long before preorders ship and the fact you can often get them on sale not long after. IMO preordering only means you're guaranteed not to miss out if the figure winds up being popular and HTF in normal markets.
I stopped doing preorders a few years back unless it's a Walmart Exclusive that has high probability of selling out in minute thus no other options to acquire it without paying an arm and leg.

I got an email overnight that this finally shipped so it sat "processing" at EE for 6 full days.
I just received a TBS Inquisitor from EE without any email warning, so I'm guessing that's how they're rolling these days.

The emails I get from EE for shipped items go to a "promotions" folder on Gmail for some reason. Perhaps they are being sent to a spam or other folder in your inbox...?
