Oh, Mark,
Do you know that there are some variations of the Takara stickers?

Hi Toru

I recall that there was some mention on the Takara sticker variations but I have not done much research on them. If you could let me know what they are or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Your knowledge on the Takara line is unmatched. :)

Wind Up R2s Takara & Canadian

Hi Guys

Thought I throw in a limelight on my last catch of 2012 - the Takara R2 wind up store display with 36 MISP Takara Wind Up R2s :-

Just for the fun of it, although not strictly a Japanese item - Here is the Canadian Wind Up R2 MOC AFA 90 - 90-90-90 (best graded piece known to exist):-

Holy cripes that's a hell of R2's! Very impressive items for such a hight grad. You know I am a HUGE R2D2 fan... you teasing me!!!

This is a 4th time I had chance to see a full case of R2's.
I have one too but only half case which missing 18 R2's.
Will try another 18 years to complete full my box.

I do also have a Canadian but much lower grad. I am happy with it.
But beauty is beauty, No doubt about that.

Super!! Mark.

Hello Mark,

Basically there are different Takara Stickers.
One with english (a) and the other one is without (b).

Then some stickers are changed stock numbers.
Those are still mystery.

I only have 4 deferent R2-D2 Takara sticker valuations.
Usually (a) sticker with Kenner 12 A card.
(b) sticker with Kenner 12 B and C, but I suspect their are more those valuation.
Someone told me that (b) sticker was on the A card too.
Then talk about COO, different bubble, card quality, peg hole difference.

Seems like endless, it is very chaotic.

Collection slowly growing, have been posting in the Vintage section up until now.
Still looking for Ben, Chewie and Sandpeople Takaras, along with the C3P0 and Stormtrooper variations. If you know of any available, please let me know.

My unpunched Tsukuda back run, 11 and counting. Love a Yellow Bubble ;)

Have yet to find a nice Lando Skiff or even see a Luke Jedi.... :(

Hi SAX,

Welcome to the JRS "Takara Club"+Tuskuda.

Takara, 3 more the US cards and 2 Japanese cards to go. Cool.

I believe Sands are not too hard find, but Chewee and Obi-wan are must be tough.
I took long time to acquired them and Chewee always had a problem with the bubble.

You live in Japan, so You have very good chance and advantage. You will found them eventually, good luck to you.

A lot of members are still looking for the 3 loose Takara figures and Tsukuda ones.

I also trying to help them.

Tsukuda, How many total are they? 20+ Vader, will be 21, right?
No Luke Hoth, of course.

There are Card backs, 65A and 65B also. Seems like most of them are 65B.
I never had chance to nail it down of those variations. Still very intreated to see those collection.

You are missing

Luke Jedi
Biker Scout
Yoda
C-3PO
Madine
Squid head
Weequay
Ree-Yees
Lando Skiff

and Vader, Oh boy, boy.

You can do it, yes you will.

Let me know the update.

Thank you very much.
