Ok so we know that it has been stated that GG will release a new helmet this year and it will be the father of someone. Since Vader is already been made that leaves Jango Fett. So it is only time till we see a helmet like this one above. This is a custom made by someone named Uber Fett over at starwarshelmets.com

Let's start the stur as this one should be released this year.

Nice custom job. I'm definitely waiting and wanting a scaled Jango to go next to the MR Boba. I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Sweet custom job.
Would not mind a scaled Jango helmet at all even though I still need the scaled Boba helmet.

Between Vader and Jango, I'd prefer Jango at this point. But honestly, I'd much rather see something completely new rather then a repaint of something Riddle/MR already did.

I agree Mapman they should do a different type of helmet i.e the following:
1.Biker Scout Helmet
2.Tie Pilot Helmet
3.Tusken Raider
4.AT AT
5.Snowtrooper
6. EP1 Clonetrooper

I'm so down for a AOTC clone helmet!!!

I really don't get why these companies think collectors want the same thing over and over. If it's already been released, do we really NEED another version with a new base and a few tweaks??? ESPECIALLY if they are just going to reuse the old molds!

Add the Death Star Trooper, Royal Guard, DS Gunner, and maybe even some McQuarrie concepts in the future.

Very cool work Bobasolo...
Thanks, I have considered making one like this, but this comes from another collectors hands. Don't want to take credit for his work. His name is listed above.

Hey Chris,

I can see see from the pictures that the base and the helmet interlock in the same way as the Master Replicas and Riddell mini helmets, so the base (post) should be able to detach from the helmet.

On the MR and Ridell ones you needed to apply some strength, but the base (post) dettached and you could attach them back in the same manner.

Nice helmet BTW... I'll try to get it.

Yup, I changed that around. My first attempt to take it off did not work very well and I didn't want to break it!

Wow!! I pre-ordered this badboy as soon as BBTS put it up and waited and waited etc. etc. I'm glad it will be out soon. Hopefully this line has a long happy life.

I had cancelled my initial order but looking at my display I decided I really want this to go next Boba. Had to reorder.

Received my Jango today....

I am NOT impressed. It looks likes someone took spray paint to a MR Boba Fett. The 2 lines that circle the top are so friggin' crooked, and the over-spray is ridiculous...it's everywhere! The "microphone cables" are loose on one side, and flecks of paint came falling out when I tipped it upright.

This sucks.

I don't want to return it, because it isn't Redford's fault, but jeez-o-pete. I am pretty disappointed.

Sad to hear. If I were you I'd return to Redford.
Another nail in the coffin of the mini helmet line.

Sorry to hear, but this line was destine to fail. GG has put ZERO effort into it. Just look what they have done with the line. 2 rehashed Vaders that look like crap and now a jango that looks like a Bootleg. EFX should had kept the line, but they can't get their act together with what little they make anyways.

I think the bottom line is GG tried to make a quick buck. No creative development, No engineering, no nothing but paying for the plastic and labor to crazy glue them together.

OK end of anti GG rant.

That's the dumbest thing I've seen in these forums, sorry, but I have to tell it.

Yes, GG has a reputation of bad scheduling. But no, they don't have a reputation for bad products. I'm from Spain, and my bust shipped directly from GG. And I've to say, it comes perfect. Perfect paint job, perfect interior, etc. Same goes for the Gold Vader and the Pink Vader. Maybe it's only my oppinion, but yes, both are not original colours for Vader, but I really like gold one and I'm really happy that I can purchase pink vader (and I like it) to support an important disease research. So, overall, I'm happy at this moment with the line on GG. I'm dissapointed that they haven't release any helmet this year to preorder, but I will be glad if we see, in the future, 1 helmet each 6 months, for example, limited to less than 200 hundred. Then, it will be difficult items to obtain, and then, I will see many of the people that nowadays tell that it's a bad line changing their speech to "it's a difficult collectible but I will like it on my collection". I don't know if all this will hapen, but for the helmet/6 months thing, I've my hopes up

Sorry for the rant

Not talking about GG as a whole Genius. I have every Star Wars bust they have ever made. They are my focus. GG is dragging their feet with this sub line. That's great you like the Pink Vader. Yeah it was for Breast Cancer, I had Cancer my self so I know what it's like. Doesn't mean it looks goods. GG will never make an unique item with the edition size of only 200. There's no money in it for them.

Sorry, but it seems that way, and I've read most of your replies on this forum to the GG lines. I don't think they're dragging their feet...yet. Obviously, they need to get more items on the way, soon, or the line will be gone for good. And not simple repaints, more new items (TIE and AT-AT will be god sellers). But on the bottom line, I suposse they will need to downsize the edition and rise the price. Yes, that's a problem, but yes, I will pay 80$ for a helmet if they ever wanted to do some new ones to mini helmet collectors

I didn't get either Vader so I can't comment but I am VERY impressed with my Jango helmet. I agree that GG better get a move on with other helmets in the line if they want to keep it alive. Personally I think they are just testing the waters. History tells us that GG has been known to drag their feet, make mistakes(Customz come to mind) but, how else will they learn? I'm probably going to regret this but I'm going to give GG the benefit of the doubt on this line. The range of helmets they could chose from is amazing but in my opinion they'd be best to come out with something that hasn't been done yet. With GG's scanners it wouldn't be hard to up-scale those Armory Line helmets. Would it? I mean all they would really have to do is add some guts to the buckets.

Hopefully GG can produce some original helmets or release some old favorites! I hope we'll at least see another helmet or two in the next year or so...

Not dragging their feet? Do you know how long they've "talked about this line"?

Let me give you a trip back memory lane.....over 2 years back to Toy Fair 2008 (click HERE for the pictures).

Then nothing till summer of 2009 when they released the Pepto Bismol Vader.

Then there was the gold PGM Vader helmet. I don't even know when this one actually came out.

And now we get the 1st one....the Jango scaled helmet. over 2.5 years later. And you think they are not dragging their feet?

Yeah.......right........

Just got mine and it's going back. Paint work is terrible - lots of scuffs and the black lines that go around the top of the helmet are not straight!

I'm going to mull it over as to if I get a replacement or a refund

Man that sux Woody. Hopefully if you decide on a replacement they send you a good one. I know mine is spot on. Another example of how GG can take something that SHOULD be simple and complicate it.

That's to bad man. Hopefully if you pick one up later you can actually see it before purchase. At least that way you can inspect it for flaws yourself.

Well, I got mine in the SWShop.com 25% sale. Overall it appears to be similar to the other helmets. As others have reported, the two black lines around the top are NOT straight. But that appears to be the only issue with the one I received. Sorry many of you got worse ones than I did.
