There wasn't a thread so I decided to create one. For anyone wondering, these are 4.75". I saw the werewolf a while back and decided to grab one since it was $10+ shipping on Walmart. Just found out they also made the dragon, which is a Walmart exclusive, but of course it's sold out at Walmart and is a little pricey in the aftermarket. I'm wondering when these came out and if it's likely Walmart will be getting more, or if I should just bite the bullet.

Someone found more Jakks figures from the Sega Line - Gillius Thunderhead from Golden Axe and Joe Musashi from Revenge of Shinobi! I'd really like to pick these up and will consider it if I can find them for $10-15 like I did the Altered Beast. Still never found a Weredragon for a reasonable price. Everyone who has them wants $30 or more, and I don't want it that bad. However, if they make the tiger or bear, I may consider it.

I just opened this figure and I'm not sure everyone has seen what Jakks has done with what is essentially slightly bigger than a 4 inch figure. double knees and elbows, rocker ankles, and butterfly shoulder joints.... in a figure this size it's pretty incredible.

I'm convinced Jakks could do Star Wars 3.75". Unfortunately it would mean starting over... but this figure is fantastic.

I'm not sure, while this figure is really nice I've seen other things they've done that aren't. I think I would rather Jakka handle some other license/IP being as Hasbro is already doing just fine with Star Wars. After all, you're not about to see an decrease in price.

Borrowing from the discussion for the 375 intuitive thread, it would be interesting to see them tackle other things but I feel as if they did this figure because of the low license fee. At $14 this is one heck of a figure, the sculpt is fantastic and though I'd prefer BH joints over the double hinge that's likely a factor in why the lower price than $20. I still haven't come across Gillius Thunderhead, or Weredragon yet.

But I am curious what else they might delve into concerning IP's past these initial figures, it seems specific to Sega games. the

I saw the weredragon when I looked into what else they had done in this line. I would like to see them do Lord of the Rings and Hobbit figures. I'm still burned that we didn't get the full Thorin's Company.

The biggest problem I would have with Jakks doing Star Wars is that their distribution is absolute ****. I mean, complete, utter dog ****. Like if you ever thought Hasbro has bad distribution problems, they're nothing compared to Jakks. You can't find their stuff anywhere except ebay. I was lucky to find the Werewolf on Walmart online, on sale no less, but I haven't seen a single other Sega figure in stores. Nor do they have any kind of outreach whatsoever when it comes to letting fans know what's out or what's coming. The Simpsons line doesn't finally start to show up in stores until many months after the waves are released, and they're quickly picked through so all that's left is the over-packed characters. The only way I've been able to keep up with that line is from a YouTube channel that announces them as they're leaked and as soon as each wave hits iamretro. Otherwise I would be pulling my hair out collecting that line lol.
