Yeah, I'm ripping this off of Since1978's thread in the Legacy section, but this is a big line, I think it deserves one.

Great idea. I think that wave 4 was officially confirmed by Hasbro though we haven't seen pics yet. But I think that line up is set in (sankara) stone.

Ah, I thought only the Thug was confirmed. I think I'll keep them there until I can get a source just to make sure.

I'm intrigued by the Cairo Swordsmen two pack. Can anybody confirm that the number is different from the Marion/Cairo Henchman two pack?

Hasbro have also confirmed a Flying Wing for next year. It will be $19.99. It was confirmed a couple of Q&A's back, but I forget where (possibly www.theprivateuniverse.co.uk). They also said that a Last Crusade Tank was unlikely at the moment because it doesn't really fit anywhere in any of their pricepoints.

Honestly, I'm worried about the Flying Wing at the $20.00 Price Point. It means we'll get a horribly under-scaled version of the vehicle. Much like with the $20 price point Darth Maul's Starfighter. Which will be disappointing. I'd rather see them wait and try to sell a larger $40.00 vehicle assortment next year with the Flying Wing and LC Tank.

I know what you mean about the scale of the Flying Wing. But honestly there probably would not be that many people going for a $40 airplane from an Indiana Jones film. Not like they would for a Star Wars vehicle I would not think.

I am surprised they can not make a tank for $20 though? They underscale an airplane but not a tank? Odd.

Curto mentioned the battle packs in the old Indiana Jones V2 discussion, when the indy was in the Movie toys thread section. V1 and V2 are no longer there? Not sure where the Mod put them, but i found this on another site:
087-06-2069 Indy Battle Packs $19.99

Comic con is in July. And Hasbro did hint about a scaled down Flying wing as possibly being in the works. The only problem is that it would be in the $19.99 vehicle assortment... Which personally, i dont mind as long as we get one!

Hasbro never actually confirmed the Flying Wing. They stated in a Q & A on thePrivateUniverse.uk that if they produced one they would slot it into the $20.00 price range.
I'd personally rather not have one if it was going to be another Sith Infiltrator.

The dragon might be from this. Definitely one of the coolest artifacts I remember from the old Find Your Fate books...

Oh god do I hope…I’ve been on the edge of my seat for TOD figures since they announced they were going to do Indy figures. I’m dying for a Mola Ram and Short Round. It’s been a long time coming.

I am actually looking forward to the indy more than anything. I have been looking forward to the indy with the torn sleeve since this line was announced! Next would be Mola Ram. Hope we get some deluxe TOD sets as well. The bridge would be excellent!!!!

I like the idea of the two packs in the sense that we get army builders, but sculpts are the same and quite frankly they're not that good. The German soldiers are an example where I'd gladly buy multiples if the sculpt was better and they all didn't look identical. Granted they did change the head sculpt, but that's it - not even a pouch or a hand or something else (at least the different paint application helps).

Meh, the Cairo Henchman all looked almost the same any way. I like these figures! They may be simple retools, but they work.

There is actually a sketch of what looks exactly like the Chinese Dragon artifact in the special features of the new Temple of Doom DVD release. Check out the galleries. The first one (with the props, I believe) has a sketch fairly early on that looks just like the artifact.

chances are that the germin mechanic might be released with the plane....if thats the case then that would leave marion in the dress, tohnt, and indy in germin outfit as the 3 to be made..belloch in the suit...maybe in a battle pack

Given the number of reused molds in this line already I wouldn't be surprised (and I wouldn't complain!) if they made a figure in a suit that could be reused for different characters - The body for a Belloq in white suit could also be the body for a Venice Catacombs Indy, Toht, and numerous other figures. In fact, I think I'll ask Hasbro about this in the Q&A.

There is no need to suggest to Hasbro about resuing a sculpt. With the figures you mentioned, they are extremely likely to be made anyway (with their own new sculpts.)

Please don't give Hasbro any ideas on how to cheapen the Indy line more, we are already getting the same set of legs with every basic Indy release...please don't make it more...

Wow - that Cairo Swordsman sculpt is really getting a workout!!

All three Cairo thug versions share everything except his head. Take a good look.

Wow, almost 1100 views!! I have a feeling that Indiana Jones will have a pretty good following for a while. Meanwhile, still scouting for new rumors!
